Over the course of the last few months, however, a number of Reports have been made to Admin that have been, IMO, threatening in nature. There has been a further couple over the last 24 hours which is what has prompted this post. 

For the avoidance of doubt zero tolerance will be exhibited towards a repeat. 

On a similar, and not unrelated, subject there has been repeated references to Personal Messages of unsavoury nature being sent. 

The very nature of Personal Messages makes it extremely difficult to corroborate their existence. 

Again for the avoidance of doubt zero tolerance will be exhibited to anyone who is demonstrated to have sent such messages. 

Equally zero tolerance will be exhibited to anyone who can be demonstrated to have made false accusation of the above. 

In the meantime please continue to debate the affairs of Partick Thistle, on and off the pitch, with the same vigour and passion that you always have. Try and do it in as civil a manner as you can but above all else please be mindful of the above.

This forum has been set up as a replacement for the previous jags forum (jagsforum.net) and we hope that this new forum can be just as successful as all the previous forums.

We hope to create a real sense of an online community of Thistle fans, where although we may not all agree, we all support the same team and as such we are just like a big family.

The forum hasn't changed drastically from the previous forum and users of the old forum should feel right at home. We also want to welcome all new forum members who are signing up for the first time as well as fans from other clubs.

Please take the time to read our Code of Conduct and our Terms of Use as by registering to the forum you have accepted to comply with these rules. If you are then found to have breached these rules, depending upon the severity, you may receive a warning or immediate dismisal from the board. We will not get drawn into debates about rights/wrongs and if you do not agree with anything on the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use, please email us and provide details.

You may see some big changes/improvements to the board over the next few weeks and we will be adding a lot more features. But more new to follow on the announcements section nearer the time.

Hope everyone is enjoying the new forum and getting used the new layout.

We are using the same software as the last forum, except this is v3.0 so there are a few differences. Most of these weren't by choice and that's just the way the software works but there is also a lot of things we can tweak with the settings, which we will be doing over the next few weeks.

Biggest bit of good news is that we have now arranged for a new hosting provider and when we switch all the niggly issues people have been having should be sorted. We are trying to get this done before Friday so that everything is in place for jagsforum.net closing but we will post another update when we have more details.

This also means that for a period of time we will need to close the board, but we will do this late at night and post something to let everyone know when it will be happening.

Everything has been hectic the last few days, so we appologise if we haven't replied to everyone yet and if anyone is having major issues please just PM us. Once we get settled and have the new hosting etc. we will be able to work on tidying up all the niggly issues people have and make improvements/enhancements etc.

Thanks to everyone for all the comments so far and for all the ideas on new features etc. we are looking into all of these as well as a few other things we are thinking about, just really busy at the moment.

Will post an update soon about the hosting.
