  1. Well we’re clearly not going to be 2nd so will potentially still have up to 6 play off games, so given where we are surely it’s better to aim for third for more money?
  2. It was mentioned a few times last year that the draw with Raith in the final game cost us 2 places and about £150k
  3. Bit of perspective, they’re finally running away with league 1 after 5 years of being in that league and Ross McIver & Aiden Nesbitt are 2 of their star players. We were in it unjustly for 1 season & humped them 5-0 to win the league. I’m sure they’ll do ok next season but I’d expect us to finish above them
  4. It’s funny how time changes your memories. I always thought he had a moustache
  5. It did look like a dive so I’m surprised
  6. It’s happened in most games this season. Every team tries to block our wings
  7. Would you rotate the normal first 11 if all available? Unfortunately most of the rest of the squad assembled aren’t good enough as first choice
  8. But 2 tough away games where we usually struggle. Any points away will be a bonus but home wins v Airdrie & Ayr should hopefully be enough for third. It’s a very poor league this season and I reckon Raith will finish 2nd but nothing to fear if we manage to meet them in a play off despite this season results so far against them.
  9. From BBC Inverness Caledonian Thistle head coach Duncan Ferguson: "I'm not sure if it's inside the box or it's not inside the box, but it's absolutely a free-kick. "It's an easy decision and then they counter attack and that's it, they score from there. It should have been a penalty if it was inside the box, or it's a free-kick on the edge of the box, and then [the referee] compounds the problem by then saying to Cammy Kerr that he's simulated the first yellow card. It's a clear free-kick." 38 clearly fell over looking for a free kick, Kerr’s was a blatant dive.
  10. Your point? It’s 2 leagues below us & 90 year old Alan Trouten also scored 😀
  11. Time to retire your team talks mate. They don’t seem to work although at least we won with a poor performance against 10 men
  12. Dreadful game & poor performance. Very few pass marks today but it’s 3 points and takes us closer to claiming third spot. ICT looked sharper than us but they created not a lot and Mitchell had very little to do. 2 tough away games coming up
  13. I doubt if Dowds can play for us in play offs as I’m sure we could only have recalled him in January but Dools chose not to
  14. We need 3 points tomorrow as we have 3 tough away games
  15. Thanks. So she played and loanee was a sub. The earlier BBC article implied the loanee would start to add I just noticed she’s also on loan, which means both our squad keepers are loanees. Very strange situation
  16. For those that follow the team can you explain why we don't have our own keeper? I read that our normal 1st choice is on loan from Rangers & she can't play, so we've taken a goalie from Celtic on an emergency 7 day loan and she will play. That seems a crazy situation
  17. Not sure if it’s been mentioned elsewhere but I saw on Instagram that Adeloye’s season is over. Let’s hope BG stays fit and free from suspension
  18. Not quite 5, but one of my earliest memories of Firhill is the announcer (Danny Hattie??) starting the team line up as Rough, Reid and Ralston….
  19. Maybe less as those below have some games to play each other
  20. Good win today, putting us in a decent position with 6 games to go
  21. Exactly! With only 7 games left and some tough away fixtures 3 points is a must
  22. Will know for sure in a few mins
  23. I’m pretty sure 1st prize was 206015 as we had tickets beginning 206 and my mate asked when he came back from the pie stall at ht. 2nd began 204 but no idea of the rest of it
  24. That’s a great bit of trivia DD, that’s my NFL team to add, I see he also played for the Claymores so I probably saw him play as I went to a few games at Hampden
