    Said it all season - Muirhead and Neilson are awful. And this new keeper is a joke. Season in severe danger of petering out in disappointment.

    I was more concerned with defenders who couldn’t seemingly see players who are over 6 feet tall ghosting past them or being right beside them.

    It really is frustrating when they don’t get the ball straight into the box from a set play. Forget short corners and wee tippy tap passes from free kicks - get the ball in there!

    Really enjoyed the game today, the first women’s match I’ve been to. Team played really well and a very good crowd at 874. Full credit to the wee guys with the drum and megaphone who kept it going all game. Well done to all.

    Absolutely embarrassing. Utter utter guff. There were players in red and yellow out there today who’d struggle in the 3rd division.

    Great result and a thoroughly enjoyable football match. Shame we couldn’t keep a clean sheet but pleasing to see a response to last weeks defeat. Thought Doolan got his tactics spot on today and good substitutions. Lawless immense today and must have run miles!!

    I see you’re still upset about your pal getting sacked. It was the right decision then and it’s still the right decision. Resurrecting this just smacks of more sour grapes and sh1t-stirring to honest. Have you been in todays match thread to comment on how well we played today? Were you there today? Or sat at home scribing this tripe?

    Solidity and Mulgrew in the same sentence ?? That would be Mulgrew who was at the centre of the defence of the PL team who got relegated last season and conceded oodles of goals in the process? That Mulgrew? No thanks.

    That’s what happens when you don’t take your chances. Could easily have been 4 up at half time. 2nd half was poor from an attacking perspective and panic set in after they scored their first goal with balls just been hoofed up in the air. Needless subs and positional changes. Poor defending for their two goals. Must do better.

    I’ll agree with you about Holt. But last season Docherty regularly gave the ball away. And missed that crucial penalty. He’s no great loss. They both left to join United, a team we beat tonight, which is beautiful.

    Not fussed about Docherty leaving - it means he’ll be giving the ball away for Dundee United instead of us. Not really seen why people are so gutted he’s gone - I’m more concerned about Turner going. Anyway, onwards and upwards and look forward to Doolan getting together a decent squad.

    Absolutely not. The myth of him having a good eye for players was widely debated during the season. On the whole I think his recruitment has been poor. Too many journeymen at the wrong end of their careers and too many loans from the Old Firm, none of which were any good. Just like Archibald shouldn’t have been back at Firhill in any role, neither should McCall.

    Well I course he didn’t. What a silly remark. Even winning tonight wouldn’t have fit us top. As you well know, I’m talking about games during his era, particularly Cove and Hamilton at home.

    If only we’d bagged McCall earlier than we did, there’s a good chance we’d be champs tonight.
