The contact for the Motherwell penalty was outside the box. Should have been a free kick and not a penalty. Thought that at the time, and the pictures/highlights show the contact was outside the box.

Who's this Gordon Duncan guy on Twitter? Going by his tweets it sounds like he has spoken to Archie today about McFadden. Is he a journalist?

He played in the bounce match and took part in training at Garscube when I was there watching on Friday. He certainly wasn't injured. Archie's comments in the Evening Times today where he listed all our defenders but didn't mention Piccolo is interesting.

I'm sure I heard that Faddy can't train on astro turf because of his knees so that might explain that

Damessi might have been there actually, there was a couple of strikers I didn't recognise, one of them was Chris Duggan apparently and I was told the other one was another youth player though

There were two left backs there that I didn't recognise, going by the shouts one of them was Jordan Mustoe. There weren't any centre mid trialists,Osman was there but he's signed now. I didn't see Bannigan anywhere, supposedly he's injured and is training away from the rest of the team. Darren Barr was there. Other than that don't think there was anyone else I didn't recognise.

McFadden was training with the Thistle team today. He played in a bounce game and played off the right wing at first then moved to just behind the striker. I noticed Higgy changed teams at half time to be in the same 11 as him for the second half. Abdul Osman looks to be a decent signing too

Craigen is nowhere near good enough for this league, can someone tell me what he actually does apart from lose the ball and get outmuscled? Elliot and Erskine could stay and be at least good backup players as could Lawless, but wouldn't mind Lawless going, he hasn't played much the last few months.
