  1. this we are a goal in front they go down to 10 men then we go to a back 5 thought lawless and fitzpatrick were well off the pace today neilson looked right out of it today really poor robinson defo looks a good signing for us lyons scores again today for east fife
  2. the most common name is surely Brady (aka Peter Brady) every time they ran onto the pitch they promptly disappeared 😄
  3. wee stevie playing a blinder they can't get near him playing into the wind second half, might suit us better
  4. In o nutshell robhill, supporting the jags over the decades has been part of my life so many great memories. so many disappointments I wish you well big man paul aka watties wallies
  5. i've been reading and following all the posts re fan ownership and now this ma heid is buzzin JJ to make a posting about kris doolan is to me well ?? to question his commitment to the the jags is reallly unaceptable Kris was given the managers job he accepted we got to the playoffs last season this season without a much reduced budget we are still in the playoffs let's get behind the team and the manager if this is not good enough for you well JJ move on I am tired of all this negativity re my team and yes I've been a a jags supporter since the late 50's
  6. If this goes on much longer I am going to start the match thread for the Dumfy game
  7. he is driving the team bus down from Inverness cutbacks an all that 👍
  8. pleased for Banzo getting the third goal a right foot belter onwards and upwards bring it on 👍
  9. points to ponder Jock Stein remember him "if you don't lose goals you don't lose games" John Lambie "this is the hardest league to get out of, you must play guys that have the experience and have gained promotion" next point how the hell we can be second to every second ball irrespective how talented the opposition player is surely we should be able to get physically in amongst them next point zander is not a full back, the way he plays the game he is certainly one for the future as an attacking midfielder I agree with comments re Milne and Fitzpatrick if they could apply themselves like McMillan and Lawless Robinson and Williamson have got to start on Saturday Banzo rested team for Saturday sneddon anybody that can kick a ball with his right peg at right back, muirhead neilson and milne midfield robinson williamson and McInroy Lawless Graham and Fitzpatrick let's get at them from the off tomorrow win lose or draw no more "second to every ball" onwards and upwards 👍
  10. mom for me was jamie sneddon kept us in the game first half midfield posted missing lawless second half came right on to his game that chalmers looks a good player for ayr onwards and upwards 👍
  11. there is one and only one answer to this forget about any monies coming to thistle regarding renaming any part of firhill from next season Firhill Park should be renamed McParland Park As a player and manager Davie McParland stands beyond any other There I've said it let it happen next season
  12. yes he does he has his package booked on one of those ferries sittin doon the watter
  13. how about Mitchell McMillan Muirhead Mulgrew Milne Williamson McInroy Lawless Robinson Fitzpatrick Graham
  14. I hope we are not playing the magic roundabout with the goalie Mitchell between the sticks today
  15. to be fair to zander he had 2 players coming at him most of the game without any back up cover bit like dundee utd game thought maybe doolan would have pushed him into midfield second half definitely a player there would like to see Lyon get a start next saturday
  16. gerry britton was an excellent player for the jags and just for the record gerry was against appointing caldwell as our manager but you know who ignored that and gave powerpoint caldwell the job the rest as they say is history
  17. but was Doolan given the financial status of the club when offered the job
  18. would Kris Doolan have been made aware of this shortfall before he took on the manager role
  19. Turner for me would be the player that most effort be made to retain this lad had really come onto a game when pushed further forward this season
  20. agree with above however looking at the positives we have a really good promising young manager we do have a nucleous of signed players for next year so lets see what the player budget is given to our manager for next year players will move on and players will come in but always remember that we the partick thistle fans are this club through thick and thin we we will support the jags today was hard to take however next season we can and we will succeed lets get behid the manager and the team 👍
  21. we have a nucleus of a team signed up for next season think we slightly over achieved this season so many points lost if doolan had been at the helm from the start then who knows its been an exciting run in this season the players have certainly given their best now we have to rebuild for next season I for one will be buying a season ticket onward and upwards guys and galls we are thistle. partick thistle
