I would like to know what fans on the forum thought of this idea.My wife and I were up at Roberts grave on Friday as we do every Friday.My wife asked if we would be able to keep Doolans boots at the end of the season and put them at Roberts grave.If this was ok with everybody it would not affect the tops as I have already said I will hold competitions for the 2 tops that are remaining after we give 1 to the winner of the world cup competition which coincidently is decided on the 15th July which would have been Roberts 33rd birthday.

Think the lowest we will finish is 3rd but would not be surprised if we finish higher.I know you cant read to much into todays results but a few teams in our league struggled.

I think this was by far Englands best chance to win this or at worst get to the final.The draw seemed to open up for them.Ithink countries like Germany,Argentina,Portugal,Spain and Brazil will be better the next time around.Also Italy and Holland who missed out completely.

On one of our trips to Disneyland Florida Robert and I had our Thistle tops on.A guy asked if he could take a photo of us,when I asked why he said him and his father were big Thistle fans and he wanted to prove to his father he had seen other Thistle fans in Florida.

When snooker was first shown on tv,it was black and white.

No,i was asked about drinking and smoking ,I said my only bad habit was going to Firhill.She spoke very well of Thistle said her son wanted a tour of Firhill for his birthday but was told Thistle didn't normally do that,but when they found out it was for her sons birthday they arranged a tour with Robert Reid giving the history. Which her son was really happy with.

I was up at the new Victoria hospital today for a pre op check.During the general chat with the nurse doing the check I found out that her husband and son are big Thistle fans.Its a small world.

He has had 2 years wages from us for next to no return.I would hope if he manages to stay fit he will be willing to play for us for at least one season.
