At the game i couldn't tell if goals were chopped of correctly, in fact from the front of the Lambie stand i couldn't see what happened with our 'second goal', but after seeing a replay of the second it was a terrible call. Our defending was terrible as it has been to many times this season so far and it has been what has stopped us putting in a real challenge to finish second or higher, but they do say goals change games and if the first 'goal' was not disallowed and Graham then goes on to put us 2-0 up, for me we go on and win the game comfortably. But we really need to sort out our defending or we could struggle to make top 4. When you consider the way Dunfermline defended in the first half in particular you see the difference, if they hadn't blocked a number of shots we had in the box we could have been out of site by half time. As has already been said i know this was his first game for us but Stewart didn't fill me with confidence he could be the answer to what is undoubtedly a problem position for Thistle.

I am not sure many if any Scottish championship clubs could afford to refuse £500,000 and then a further £500,000 investment 6 months later. I do realise this means the fan ownership % being reduced. If we are an ambitious club and looking to get back in the premiership i don't think Morton are the template for that, they haven't played in the top flight for nearly 40 years.

As soon soon as they both entered the women's game it was inevitable that this nonsense would come into it as well.

We have seen what happens when the manager publicly slates players, Ross County for example. Being captain and a senior player i would think gives you more leeway to say what you feel.

You and some others may find it hard to believe, but there is a few older ones than me.

I was not comparing teams, but that the advantage that the premier league team has does not always work out.

We could not take advantage of playing less games when we lost out to Livingston who finished 3rd.

I was thinking that as well. He was playing every week for Raith Rovers, didn't think he would sign for us just to sit on the bench every week.

I know if anybody can find anything about Thistle no matter how obscure it is @The Thistle Archive will find it, but how did you find this ? Out of interest anybody know any of the other fans ?

I did not expect to see DC at 4th. Didn't feel that good at the time.

I think James Lyon's build could be what is holding him back. Let's hope he gets plenty of game time and he comes back ready to challenge for a first team place next season.

I also went to Dunard St primary. But a bit later than yourself. I started 1960, i remember the teacher that took the football team used to call us 'The MudLarks'.

Having watched the disallowed goal countless times, the only thing i can see up with it, was it was scored against Sevco.

Imo Dundee Utd will win the league. Raith Rovers on a bad run but will finish 3rd at worst, so we have 3 teams going for 2 places to make up the top 4. On a current points per game average Morton would finish with 52 points, Airdrie 48 points. As we know it is not an exact science as a lot could change over the next 14 games, but on the current average points per game another 14 points should see us finish top 4. Of course we should be looking to do better than that, as others have already said second is not out of our reach.
