Agree with all of this except about Barton.Barton is in a back 3 or nothing for me.I know Dumbuya has hardly played but he is a shadow of the player he was.When thinking about our best 11 you have to think about fitness,form and tactics.The best 11? The 11 that can keep us in the premier league this season.

Didn't think it was a foul,but even after that we still should have cleared the ball.Couldnt tell at the game if Murray was offside but after watching highlights he was just onside as he was a few minutes later when his goal was chopped off for offside.As I have said in an earlier post we tried to defend our lead instead of trying to get that killer second. The problem is we cant defend.

A big week for Thistle.Lets hope our management team gives our players a good amount of training in how to defend.Our set pieces also need some work.With the bottom 4 playing each other this could be a big weekend.A win for us is vital as out of all our remaining fixtures before the split this is the most winnable imo.I would also like to St.Johnstone beating Ross County as I don't think St.Johnstone will be in the bottom 2.

Before the Motherwell game there was an article that said ourselves and Hamilton had lost17 points from winning positions,since then we have dropped another 5 points from a winning position.Just think where we would be if we even held onto to say half of those leads.

Imo when we scored we played as if we were looking to win the game 1-0.We didn't really press for what I would think would've been a killer 2nd goal apart from Erskine's effort I don't remember much of note from us in an attacking way in the second half.On the other hand when Dundee equalised they continued to press for the winner.

Thistle are missing 3points,we had them then threw them away.

The reason we have stayed in this league for so long is our ability to pick up the points from those teams round about us.so the next 2 games are must win if we want to stay in this league.

Imo Archie will not be sacked even if we go down and although I have not always held this view I do think he deserves the chance to bring us back up.If we had a bad start to next season and we had been relegated then he would deserve to be sacked.I also think we would have a completely different squad as a lot of them woudnt want to play in the championship.

After our collapse against Dundee our next 2 games are must win games.After we play Ross County we are home to Aberdeen then face Hearts and Hibs both away.We can still get ourselves out of trouble but we need to start with a win at Hamilton next week.

The negativity imo is understandable,we had the game won and threw it away.Even though I have supported Thistle for nearly 60 years that was a very sore one to take.We were by far the better team in the first half,but after going 1-0 up we just looked like we were trying to play the game out.We scored with about 5 minutes of the first half to go not with 5 minutes of the game to go.A stat before the Motherwell game said Thistle and Hamilton had lost more points from a winning position than any other team in the premier league.Keep this up and it is championship for us and that wont be as easy as some think it will be.

Agree start with Erskine,use Storey's pace and hope we feed the fish.Edwards and Dools to come on in the second half if required or even if we are well ahead (wish full thinking)bring Dools on and hope he gets league goal 100.

Did well .Was Scotland manager for 10months then Birmingham came calling.Dont think he has done much since he was sacked by Birmingham.

Couldn't agree more.Left Scotland to manage Birmingham last time.He wants to be Scotland manager now because nobody else wants him.

This was always going to be a big game. After the Dundee collapse of losing to a 10 man Kilmarnock a victory in this will put us above them and depending on results elsewhere we could also go above St.Johnstone. Dundee will be low in confidence so we have to come out and get at them but we also have to make sure we don't give anything away that will give them something to hold onto.

There are a lot of reasons why fans don't / cant attend football matches.

Imo Doolan and Sammon do better when they are played as lone strikers.It is good to keep one of them fresh and if we require to bring one of them on with about 25 minutes or so to go if required.But if Doolan is saying it would work who am I to argue.

Big couple of months coming up for both these players.If we are extending either of their contracts I don't think they should be any longer than 6 months.

Fraser played for the development team in the 4-1 defeat to Hearts in midweek.Might see him back soon.

Now we are out the cup we can concentrate on the league. The next 3 games have us playing the teams around us.Dundee(h) Hamilton and Ross County both away.Imo we need at least 7 points ideally we will get 9 points. Although we have lost our last 2 games I feel we are playing well enough to get at least 7 points.

Would accept 10th this season.I think if we stay up and add a few new faces for next season we would do ok.
