The ‘supporter’ should be named shamed and banned from Firhill .

Season target to get to play offs achieved. Highly doubtful we are anywhere good enough to win promotion though.

No doubt a range of possible options exist.
Speaking personally, it might be cleaner to have TJF as the solution and consign the existing Trusts to history. That may be controversial, but it would at least remove the historical baggage and give us a fresh start on the solid principles that the current ‘independent fans’ are developing.
In an ideal world that would be the way to go I agree.

Everything is possible, but would you say PTFC Trust is fan controlled or even answerable to the fans? It’s not even had elections in timeframe that was meant to happen.
Has anyone had any feedback from the “fans reps” on the board?
I’m certainly not an expert in any of this but reading the summary I think 3BC could argue that although no Trust elections have been held etc, the Trust is still deemed to represent the fans as beneficiaries. Assuming there are more than 600 season ticket holders of 2years plus standing (which may well be the case) 3BC could argue that the Trust is more representative of the fans than the Foundation? I guess also if the shares were gifted to them , the Trust could call for or be pressured to hold elections after the event?
just reading Sandy’s post there. An almagamation of TJF and PTFC Trust to form one fans group may offer a solution to the current shambles

Thanks for this. So looking at this, is it possible that 3BC can decide to gift the shares to PTFC Trust and therefore declare that Colin Weir’s wishes have been met?

I'd say it's designed to deflect the blame for this mess entirely on to TJF, but hey ho.
It’s certainly very assertive and I did think the JTF email was a little bit defensive. It’s a pity it’s all turned into a mess.

Seems from the 3BC and Board statements and from the email I received from TJF today there has been a lot of frustration on both sides to date. On the upside at least the whole stadium will come under sole ownership of the club soon and fan ownership still going ahead. I’m thinking the 3BC/Board stances is designed to reboot and refocus the process.

Time for a rethink on the ‘ score more than the opposition’ approach maybe?

Added an "Already renewed so none of this applies" option to Q2 & Q3 to resolve issue raised by Lambies Lost Doo.
I just completed Poll myself, was able to answer all 3 questions so not sure what the problem is, sorry about that, open to suggestions if others are having difficulties.
Seems OK now

Can't get past Q1.
Renewed season ticket . And renewed one for wife .

I'll not spend another penny that goes directly or indirectly to any other SPFL team or the SFA from now on. I'll spend extra on Thistle instead.

QoS are the only team in the league who's last 6 game form is worse than ours 1pt vs 5. If we can't beat them then I reckon we will be in even more serious trouble than we are now.

Worrying news. Get well soon

Great news
There are many fans who have significant business experience. We just need to elect people with the correct skilks.
Absolutely right. I'm sure these best people will be identified or will step forward as the transfer to the fans progresses.

Good news.

Hapless and hopeless. 2 very good Fox saves between them an 0-3. We could have played all day and not scored. Hugely disappointing.

Germany football pretty much is fan owned or Barcelona
Ta for that info. I've also found this on the interweb re UK clubs https://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/sport/football/newportcounty/17876989.success-fan-owned-clubs-like-newport-county-big-boost-bury-39-s-woes-says-andrew-penman/

Are there any examples of clubs being successfully run by fans?

So, is this essentially McCall as Director of Football, Archie as 1st team coach and Scally as assistant coach?

Not to rain on the parade but when are PTFC going to announce this good news. Ayr have put it on their web site, the BBC have announced it, local Ayrshire papers have announced it, the news is being heralded in Boston so when are the Jags fans going to hear from the club?
Am i being cynical? I reckon Ayr have pulled a fast one here. We can't announce til the compensation is agreed with them. Their announcing before this has been done helps ensure they get the max £ they can? Imagine the backlash if we don't agree to the money Ayr want??

Caldwell has to go. The uncertainty created with the proposed takeover could make appointing a new permanent manager difficult however. I'd doubt anyone would want to come with the prospect of being punted early doors if news owners come in. A temporary fix could be Gerry Britton and Scott Alison until the ownership issue is resolved.
