That sh@t record is all due to the refs apparently https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/gary-caldwell-slams-arrogant-andrew-13848988?1
As Archie suggested in a preseason interview (can't find link) we left recruitment to the last minute. So we may have had the budget but lacked the competence to sign his preferred targets.
For me the whole issue is the tactics. We are playing exactly the same way as under Archie. Lots and lots of slow pointless possession and passing leading to absolutely nothing in the final third and hopeless balls from the wing which seldom get into the box. Game after game we see the same results . One shot on target again today, none in the first half. The only goalie to make any saves was ours. Wouldn't matter if we had Harry Kane up front as it stands.
They were p@sh, we were p@sh, Dallas was p@sh. Caldwell has no idea how to turn this around. We are playing the same pointless possession game with some different players.
So a couple of weeks ago the Manager and Chairman told us promotion was still the aim. Now it's he thinks we'll finish higher than we are now - rock bottom. You couldn't make this sh@te up.
He stated he would improve the current team . we are now worse than before. Lost at home to a team on a poorer run in 6 games than us. Gifted them two goals. We had 3 shots on target all game. We look like a pub team who never see each other from week to week. Wouldn't trust him with 50p for new players. Get him out now.

The shape of things to come?!?
Personally I don't want any of the managerial merry-go-round guys like Hughes. Having seen Alloa and been impressed, I would like to see Jim Goodwin if Caldwell falls on his @rse as seems likely.
Next game v Morton is a win or sack him IMO. They are the only team with worse form than us in the last 6 . https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/253/Tournaments/71/Scotland-Scottish-Championship
Echo that. He described the performance as magnificent. An utterly ridiculous statement which frankly makes him sound like an imbecile. Magnificent would have been us winning 5-0. 1 point from 15 under him is pathetic. Echoes of the Collins, Britton/Whyte era. Very worrying.
I think a performance was required today. Finishing aside we pretty much got one against a side with a long unbeaten record. I agree we need a decent number of points from these next 4 games. After today I'm more confident than I was.
Much much better. More direct, better movement, more energy, better football and better performances from several including Storey and Spittal (rubbish pen and missed chance though). Should have won.
