  1. Sorry, I must have missed this but I can’t see anywhere that says you get a free JagZone account as a season ticket holder? They said you would get a free stream of pre-season games and all home league matches when they start up again in a few weeks, but I don’t see anywhere that says it about a JagZone account?
  2. The game was streamed onto YouTube and open to all without a log in at the time of the match. After the game the club appear to have removed the video, similar to what they did for the BSC Glasgow game. The club have advertised a full game replay is available on JagZone so it should be available there?
  3. On my iPhone it had the words ‘Are you happy with your picture?’ Underneath the image. It was only half on the screen though. if you swipe up(or scroll down) you should get the same wording and be able to progress
  4. This was the update given in March - All other staff will work remotely until further notice – we request there are no other visitors to the stadium. - https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/club-update-15th-march-2020/ As the club haven't announced any office opening hours, or any access to the stadium for in person sales, I think it is clear that office staff are working from home - which would potentially lead to a potential backlog of printing season tickets which was CotterJag's original concern.
  5. All the office staff are currently working from home - which means they would unlikely have any access to the season ticket printing machine at the moment. I imagine at some point before the season starts the office will open - just give them a call or email if you haven’t received anything about a couple of weeks before our first home game. I imagine there will be a bit of a backlog for them to work through when they are allowed back in the office.
  6. Yes, the opening game of the 2004/05 campaign.
  7. The article on the club website doesn’t mention the word striker at all(unless I’m reading it wrong). It references attacker which is completely different. Cardle and Lyons are also attackers but not strikers.
  8. Fleet Alliance were on the back of it last year, they donated their spaces for the Charitable Trust as well over last few years
  9. Would disagree with that. There was cover but there were also three full backs who were injured before Lawless was put there - Mustapha Dumbuya, Callum Booth and Christie Elliott.

Brian Graham came through as a youth at Greenock Morton around 2006, not playing regularly until 2007/08. Young players, probably even today, tend not to be paid a great deal of money. His highest goal tally, not withstanding a loan spell at East Stirling, came in his last season with 9 goals and he left to join Raith at the age of 24. I'm not sure many people were enthusiastic for us to sign him until after his spell at Raith when he piled them in.
  11. There is a "border" between Highland League and Lowland League, which I think, is the river Tay. Berwick went down last year and went into Lowland League when Cove Rangers came up. I think it causes an unbalanced division, but I think clubs in that division are happy enough to have that flexibility - it would be an extra home gate after all!
  12. Yeah, the results popped up for a long time when I was watching the stream today - https://youtu.be/IEWbKTDd1qk - about 50 minutes in.
  13. Every club in the SPFL(and probably beyond) have the rights to broadcast(in audio or through a stream) all their games(whether home or away) as long as the stream is geo-blocked to outside the UK and Ireland. What Thistle probably lack is the demand(less than 100 subscribed when in Prem) and the expertise to do it - the statement two years ago indicated it was cos they took a feed off tv cameras.
  14. I don't think you'll get your physical ticket for quite a while. One of the early club updates said that all office staff were working for home(and probably some are on furlough so it will be a skeleton staff).
  15. If the club are moving to a new manufacturer then the deal would probably start on 1st June(or 10th June if they follow transfer windows as a season end) - which means that any new kits would be unable to be launched until then. The tricky bit would be if TTL owe one final payment to the club at the end of the contract, and not pissing them off. - why throw away cash. That's without the matter of actually manufacturing the kits as I imagine, especially if they are based in Asia, they would have been shut down for a long time so there wouldn't be anything to "show off" bar a provisional artist rendering, which could look terrible.
  16. According to this article from last weekend - that match is already on JagZone OnDemand - https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/stay-at-home-this-weekend-with-free-jagzone/
  17. Celtic, Rangers and Motherwell have all mathematically secured a top six place so were probably paid the minimum payment given to top six clubs - hence why it is more. A sore one indeed.
  18. Why not take a screenshot of each of the barcodes and save them in your photos - that means you can access all three even if you have 4G/WiFi issues?
  19. If they 'can't be arsed' why have they covered, and actively promoted, every other Glasgow Cup game? The only difference with this one is QP made it closed door and I don't think the club has ever covered closed games - must be a reason for it.
  20. Queen's Park made the game a 'closed door' game, not Thistle. I don't think the club have ever covered a 'closed door' game before(did they cover the Falkirk friendly)? I think the club do think of it as important, since they have covered every other game in the Glasgow Cup on Twitter and advertised on the website - maybe they were asked not to cover it by Queen's Park(I don't see anything on their twitter).
  21. Dario Zanatta is cup-tied having played for Hearts Colts earlier in the competition.
  22. Yeah, but what pub would you like to recommend for a pre-match refreshment? Sadly The Jukebox Rebel isn't about at the moment so there are none of his absolutely brilliant threads to read and the Thistle universe is missing a website that updates with stories/detailed reports, from times we don't remember so we can't "get lost" in the midst of times. If we had that, and a band of authors/publishers behind it then it would be amazing. One to wish for!
  23. It's clear that we need an extra couple of strikers because running with two would be foolish. I don't think we need an extra couple of strikers because "we can’t rely on him for 90mins a game for the whole season" when the evidence suggests that when he starts a match, he finishes it. I suspect that he didn't play in more, particularly after the January transfer window, was because they brought in Nelson and Wright who were doing better than him on form. I'd suspect(but don't have time to check) that Doolans playing more than 80 minute starts are probably similar so could he not be relied on for 90 minutes a game for the whole season?
  24. But that was exactly your point in the original post, You said he couldn't be relied on to play 90 minutes(as below), but the evidence doesn't support that. Obviously form would be an input into whether he plays. Other attacking options would also have a factor but the evidence shows that he was capable of playing 90 minutes, at a higher level, and he frequently did. Not "being forced" to play 90 minutes is completely different from being unable to. "I’ve obviously not been clear. Every year for far too long we’ve signed forwards with ‘potential’ and spent the following months living in hope that they’d find their way to goal. The other forwards we signed like Sammon and Storey weren’t known as prolific goal scorers either, so again we were left hoping against hope. Gary did the same when signing Mansell and Roy, and neither proved to be a natural goalscorer. McDonald came along and showed us the difference having a real striker can bring to your team. He has signed Miller but given his age we can’t rely on him for 90mins a game for the whole season, and he deserves a strike partner that knows where the net is. To my mind Mansell is still a gamble so if we are signing a third striker I don’t personally get excited by it being someone from the English non league. If he wants to gamble with either of them then I really hope there is someone additionally coming in as second striker."
  25. Of the 24 games which Miller started for Dundee(I deliberately left Livi data off as he was manager so it could have been skewed) last season, he finished 13. He was sent off once and only subbed off before the 75th minute, of which there can be a number of factors aside from fitness, on six occasions. He was subbed off in the closing minutes of a game against Hamilton where he grabbed a hat-trick, presumably to gather the applause and in a couple of other games where he found the back of the net. You could well be right but I don't see anything on the numbers for last season which suggest he can't last 90 if required.
