Football is odd at times. McLaughlin was the better of the two players (him and Nisbet) but Nisbet who was a lazy thought he had made it as a player but to his credit dropped down the leagues and stepped up his game where McLaughlin went to Stirling and never set the heather alight and is now in the lowland league and maybe on that hat trick and his chunk i will be generous could be a league 2 player. Nisbet to his credit became the player Thistle thought he could be, but it took us telling him to bolt for him to be who he is today.
