Regarding the Rudden transfer, if we aren’t getting a transfer/loan fee and the valuation between the clubs was way off, why didn’t we just tell Dundee to beat it, we keep Rudden til the summer then they can have him. Why did we just swap players to give Dundee a better chance of staying up and us less chance of making top 4, especially after all the vote nonsense? McCall has said himself he hasn’t seen Jakubiak play for Dundee so why is taking him and giving them one of our better players? Am I missing something here?

KM scored vs Ayr at Somerset in the Scottish cup, hopefully he can do it again vs Ayr tomorrow!

If he can’t get a right winger in will we be looking to get Blair Lyons back to give him a shot? He never had a consistent run in the team due to the form of Cardle last season, he didn’t look like he was up to much from watching the streams but is he worth another try? I think he’s out of contract in the summer aswell so we’d be aswell as punting him if he isn’t coming back in this window.

Will Dundee have the money to come and buy him now and will we just reject it to piss them off? Got to think if Mwell wanted him they would’ve put in an offer after selling Watt, maybe the manager didn’t fancy him after seeing him in person last Friday? I’m almost sort of laughing at him going to Dundee, fair play he’s got a 3 yr deal and will be on higher wages but he could have done so much better.

The Gerry Collins management era started out ok pre season, we gubbed Ayr 6-1 at Somerset then Bradford 4-2 at Firhill, even Jean Yves Anis and Stephane Bonnes looked like players to start off with then we were absolutely hopeless when the league started!

I love Rudden but I don't get the mass hysteria caused by the BBC tonight and all the stuff in the press about scouts looking at him, he was pretty much anonymous tonight as he is most weeks unless he scores. If you were Neilson or Alexander or Courts or Maloney etc would you think 'ooft we need to sign this boy' ? no chance. Good luck to him if he goes but I don't think he's anywhere near Premier league level, Why are no teams scouting Mckenna, Shaw, Graham, Zanatta or Adeloye who have scored the same or more goals than him? Dunno if the McCall talk was trying to gee him up or put pressure on him, but I always think Rudden plays better with Graham up next to him feeding off his scraps and flick ons.

What a haste of time it was signing him! I was hoping to see him get a few starts on the right as we were changing it every week between Turner and Smith but IM obviously didn’t think he was up to it.

If we accepted an offer for Rudden, would we be looking at Nathan Austin at Kelty? I’ve heard McCall talk about him before and I’m sure he said he tried to sign him, will we be testing the water with Kelty to see what they would accept? Dunno what wages the boy is on or what other job the guy has.

Jamie McDonald was doing about 3 laps round the goal at every bye kick then was lying ko’d for a few mins trying to waste time but then got up and played on no bother. GIRUY Jamie!

I was listening to Superscoreboard after the game and a Killie fan came on saying that TW had a clause(no pun intended) in his contract saying if they were outwith the playoffs at xmas he could leave with less compensation and that the late Thistle goal put Killie out the playoff zone, so Turner got Wright the sack! I think we might still have been 4th on goal difference with a draw but who cares! Thistle should be offering refunds on the stream, imagine not being able to control the weather!

I was confident heading into last week but we were brought back down to Earth with a bump, we've not done well against Arbroath or or Raith recently so I'm not expecting anything from tomorrow, I expect Zannatta to score and another 2-0 or 2-1. My team would be Sneddon Mckenna Akinola Mayo Holt Hastie Doch Banzo Tiff Rudden Graham No point in having Hastie and not giving him a try from the start, he should give us a bit of width and maybe make them think more about his pace in behind, We've tried Smith and Turner and it's not really worked, I know Hastie hasn't set the heather on fire but he's never had a chance from the start. Come on Jags, give us a bit ox Xmas cheer!
