I thought I’d seen you on the telly, glad you got your normal spot. Was a great game to watch, BBC (Jagszone crashed 10 minutes in after loads of issues with sound) stated the team is playing with an edge to them, something that wasn’t there with McColl, I’d agree on that, they work as a real unit, and the pace going forward was missing prior to Doolan coming in. Ties not over but we’ve had 11 clean sheets from 16 games whilst scoring 34 goals will have any opposition worried.

Building a stand or terracing on the bing is nothing short of a vanity project and a complete waste of cash. Id rather any money available for the ground was spent maintaining and bringing up to scratch the current stands we have that cope easily with the attendances of 99% of our games. Moving from Firhill and from North West of Glasgow would see us going the same way as Clyde, Hamilton and Airdrie and basically kill the club, we have a location handy for multiple means of public transport, with shops, bars and food establishments within walking distance of the ground.

There is no longer a requirement to have 6000 seats. The stadium QP are building actually meets the requirements for the top league

Like Archie or Jackie Mac? Every management change is a gamble, and as I stated I would have given him the Ayr game to see whether the change in performance was due to management or playing in front of 45000.

Based on form and our points per game ratio, especially since the 1st quarter I think a change was needed. Even splitting season in 2 First 12 league matches I believe we got 23 points from 36, next 11 we got 10 points from 33. Would I have announced it on Sunday night - No After Sunday I would probably have given him the Ayr game, but if he had to go before I’d have done it on Monday at lunchtime. I like McColl as a manager, and as a guy to talk to, I think he’s done a lot for us in both terms and we will look back on his tenure with fondness. I think though for whatever reason the team and himself had got stale, and change was needed sooner rather than later as we were no longer stalling but starting to slip

A lot of folk are busy Xmas Eve so can’t make it, Boxing Day there is next to no public transport plus a lot of folk also do the other half of the family Xmas dinner
