  1. it will go on your ip address. i tried another site but when i was streaming american tv it was taking ages so might not be the best quality. think i was clutching at straws as i was gutted not to be at the game
  2. http://www.iprivacytools.com/change-ip-address-firefox/ the bloody rangers - peterhead game is even on Firstrow1.eu someone put the thistle game on here
  3. Unable to make the game today and was thinking about purchasing the live stream from Falkirk Tv for £7.99. Has anyone ever done this? i realise its for non-uk viewers but its fairly easy to get a US ip address.
  4. When Forbes isnt playing there is not another player capable of delivering a decent corner or free-kick. When a team sits in against us we really struggle to break them down and without a proper target man the qots centrebacks dealt with every high ball as Craig never jumps, he just backs in. It was frustrating to watch but thats Thistle. the 4-3-3 has worked well this season and i dont think changin it now will help but i would prefer playing 2 up front and 4 in midfield against morton.
  5. I do not understand all the negativity surrounding promotion. Better television coverage. More income. Attract better players. Keep existing squad members. And the most important factor being that we will be in Fifa14.
  6. My folks managed to get through from Spain and got their tickets. I just need to sort tickets out for myself now. Lots of phone issues so might pop up to Firhill. if im there long enough might stick around for accies game
  7. Easier said than done i am looking at getting tickets for my folks who live in Spain. They are going to phone at 4pm. Im dragging my mrs along to get 2 tickets. As you can imagine getting your non-thistle supporting mates to help out is a lost cause
  8. I can understand the club limiting the number of tickets to 2 per person. However its annoying when trying to organise a family day out and everyone is sitting apart.
  9. Interesting article in the eveningtimes regarding vacant managers job. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/sfl/top-class-talent-in-hunt-for-jags-role-114510n.20085019
  10. Good news and pleased that it was sorted in quick fashion.
  11. Birmingham are looking to add extra firepower to their ranks and have offered Arbroath striker Steven Doris an opportunity to impress during a week-long trial. Surely this means Doris is better than Doolan and the bottom 6 SPL Teams strikers.
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2254454/The-new-Messi-Cassiano-Bouzon-latest-South-American-wonderkid-catch-eye-Barcelona.html Its not the new Messsi its The new Chris Eskine.
  13. Strange move for him but he did move to Ross County in my Football Manager game.
  14. i sacked donelly and brought in chic charnley as assistant manager.
  15. Yeah that annoyed me too. Slane was ok but would rather have had Craig.
  16. I have recently purchased FM13 and have managed to get Thistle promoted in my 1st year with Dunfermline runners up also won the Challane cup. Interesting points about the game zero transfer budget, £7000 wages pw, Sinclair wants to leave and wants a better contract, Muirheads average rating 7.54 Team of the year, Doolan top goalscorer and Scully thinks he is better than he is.
  17. The crowd were alot more patient than in recent years but when a long ball is played that comes to nothing then the groaning starts. It was my first view of Muirhead and thought he was excellent. Good in the air, steady on the deck and vocal.
  18. We played really well in the 1st half using the full width of the pitch then in the 2nd half played long balls to Doolan. As much as i hated their no.9 he offered a physical presence up front something we do miss when our passing game doesnt come off.
  19. On the basis of Saturday game i dont think O'Donnell would be that much of a loss. I am prepared to be proved wrong though.
  20. Saturday was my 1st game in over a year, think it was Cowdenbeath at home this time last year and I can see a few improvements in that time. I have been watching the highlights on ptfc.co,uk but this gave me a chance to see they new players in the flesh. The pitch didnt help but the 3-5-2-1 formation was not suited, far too much space either side of the back three allowing the Livi forwards time and space. Ryan Scully - Good stops but lack of concentration and confidence. Stephen O’Donnell - Never a wing-back, no positional sense and awful 1st touch. Aaron Sinclair - Good engine but needs to work on crosssing and positioning ie push forward past the midfield when we are in attack instead of waiting on pass. Great goal though. Scott Robertson - Decent in air but slow if playing spare defender. Paul Paton - Passing ok. not sure what his best position is. Alan Archibald - few good tackles and interceptions. could be more vocal. Paul Cairney - good goal, made himself available for passes. David Rowson - missed when went off injured,. Kris Doolan - MOTM. Worked socks, off, good flick ons (no one behind though) always chasing down. deserved a goal. Sean Welsh - Good in first half but tired in 2nd, made space for himself. Pitch didnt help his game. Chris Erskine - Some good touches, some truely awful. Good pass for goal. Subs Scott Fox -n/a Christie Elliott n/a Mark McGuigan - hopefully height will be a useful addition. Doolan and him could be a good partnership. Great cross but no one in the box. Stuart Bannigan - Heard he played well at wingback last week. I wasnt totally convinced by him on Saturday. Some nice touches but didnt really do much for me. Kal Naismith n/a We do have the makings of a good team if we can keep everyone together and maybe add a few new faces. Some pace in the defence would be good and a ballwinner in midfield plus another striker to compliment Doolan. Wishful thinking i know.
  21. seen tam mcmanus in my local shop, looking like he is carrying a little extra timber. The food he bought wont help either
