  1. Hi folks, I'm looking for a ticket for Saturday if anyone has one spare could you please message me. I could travel to pick the ticket up and give you the cash on Friday or meet on Saturday. Many thanks
  2. Fair point however i can't see utd catching hamilton, possibly Killie then get pumped in the play offs. If we get a couple more wins and utd even draw with those around us it could be very handy.
  3. Surely that could be enough to tie him up, as others have already signed
  4. I'd like to see Dundee Utd beat Dundee today, that stops Dundee going above us. We've got to be looking up the way now so the more points utd take off others around us the better. This is as good a chance we will have had to finish top 6 since we came up. Not sure what the diference in prize money is in finishing top 6, but i'd like to think that bit extra could possibly tie up Osman on a new deal.
  5. If we play like we know we can, and have shown we can recently we win these next 2 games and we're safe simple. In all seriousness though if we win these next 2 the only way we should looking is up baby.
  6. Dundee utd beat this team just a few weeks back as did Inverness, yes when they are playing their best they would beat us. I would go in and don't let them settle let them know their in a game. Anyone can beat anyone in this league so i would'nt go there just expecting to get beat, we are jags fans after all we've got to be optimists.
  7. Yeah totally agree, i think as fans we forget football is a short career and they need to get as much out of it as possible. If i was offered an extra 500 quid a week (just as an example) for doing the same job i'd be off. Hopefully if we do finish in top 6, i know thats a big if i would like to think we could offer osman a better offer to keep him. This is a big season for us i reckon with a few first team players already signed up for next year we could really push on next year. The only concern i'd have if we finished top 6 then surely someone would be in for archie.
  8. Osman is the player more than any i'd like us to get tied up. I must say though i reckon hes gonna be off, more money elsewhere. Hopefully he takes a look at how it's worked out for Higgy, and stay with us.
  9. What a job Archie is doing at the moment. I'd like to see what the league table would look like if the season started the day we beat utd 3 nil at home. Just think where we would be if not for that start to the season. One of the big things more than anything else i've noticed this season is we now can see out games, tonight for example last year we would'nt have won tonight. The motherwell game at home last min winner last season or 1 before it was other teams doing it to us, or even when we took the lead late we would lose a late goal i.e Hamilton 2-1. We really have grown into this league. Well done Archie and co well done sir.
  10. Well chuffed with that performance tonight, dont remember them having a real chance. We look really solid at the back, i don't want to get too caried away but i think we should be aiming for top 6. If we could get that top 6 finish that could possibly be the difference in Osman staying. Yet again Dools absolute legend never seems to get the credit he deserves. Bring on saturday another performance like that 2nd half and we will take the points.
  11. These things do happen but the amount it happens to us is ridiculous. Surely there will need to be work done at the end of the season. Does anyone know what the reason is for the water not clearing, is it as simple as drainage, or is there another reason. We really don't want to be having to win these games in hand just to catch other teams. I don't want to be too negative, but the games in hand are'nt easy wins.
  12. On tuesday night we had our best period of the match after Pogba was intrduced. He held the ball up allowing us up the park linking well with support, also caused a lot of panic in the Motherwell defence. My one concern with the big man is his fitness, can he stay injury free, i don't think in anyway he is better than or even equal to Doolan. If used properly by Archie as a sub, bringing him on for the last 15 or 20 mins alongside Dools could work. I just hope he can produce more peformances like tuesday and it wasnt just a good game, if so he could be a useful player in the last few twitchy games of the season.
  13. I did'nt make the game yesterday, but it sounds similar to tuesday nights game. I went along on tuesday, and as much as i enjoyed the late goal it was a horrible game. It reminded me of when Ross County came to Firhill last season and just hoofed the ball foward at every oportunity. Could it be just the state of the pitches that is making Archie think this type of football is what is needed to get a win, if that makes sense?.
  14. Lawless put in a superb shift last night tireless he must have covered some distance on that pitch, which won't have been easy. As someone else stated earlier we would have lost that game last season, or at least let in an equaliser.
