As always the team could be improved, but that's unlikely now between now and January. If we keep scoring goals at the rate we are doing, I'm not bothered if we lose a few at the other end. Worth mentioning that our league record over last 10 games ( into last season ) was W5 D4 L1. Add in the 6 play off games W5 L1 and that's mighty impressive. So perhaps we shouldn't tinker too much.

So the league in which we sit is tarnished beyond reasons we can't possibly control. So what. All we can do do is compete in the time and phase we are in.

I don't hate anyone. Just enjoy pointing out those who have a need to prematurely give a negative opinion. Its great fun. We have a good team. Embrace it and who knows where we will end up this season. The stats under doolan say it all.

Not sure what that means but no doubt a negative dig as we have come to expect. It's a very minor setback in the grand scheme of things and most of the fan base will see it this way. Onwards

Never said that. Major issues of significance yes. Not the day to day mundane issues surrounding the upkeep of a stadium. For example I don't need to know if a floodlight bulb needs replaced. But if its two bulbs...maybe :-)

I think it needs fixed. This sometimes happens to roofs. Do I need to know the why....no. If you do need to know I would respectfully suggest that is indeed the definition of attempted micro management.

We changed manager to have an improved chance of promotion. What happened thereafter clearly demonstrated the decision was right ( timing not withstanding ) for the overwhelming majority of our support. Its really very simple unless you have a rather skewed view of things.

So enlighten us. What proper or real ( sic ) manager is available, below pension age and within our budget and....how do you know they would be better.

I'd suggest that the 6 thistle managers in question have a better idea of what constitutes a good player, rather than your good self. I will stand corrected if you are in fact Pep Guardiola.

So you would have not counted the years he was out injured with regard to a testimonial? Why not go further and not pay him while injured.

Simple answer. He's a good player playing a certain role that doesn't get the plaudits. Similar to Ross docherty who many posters had no time for....even though the stats showed he was a winner when in the team. There appear to be some who have a personal vendetta against bannigan. I've no time for that whether it is bannigan, or any other thistle player for that matter.

I think you need to move on from the play off game. We all seen it, endured it, felt it. No amount of hand wringing will change it. For the record it has been comprehensively scrutinised by many on this forum and indeed social media. To say no-one has questioned it seems odd.

What is the financial gulf between us and Hearts for comparison purposes? Not that it really matters because I'd imagine killie only beat Celtic once every 50 games or so.....

Wow. Had to read a lot of flatulent nonsense before a sensible analysis of the reality of things. It's August. 2 league games in. Of course the team is in transition and the time to make sensible judgements is as usual....when we have played the first quarter of the season.

Great effort to sell 1400 tickets for this game. I'd imagine most will be travelling with a sense of hope ( may be misplaced ), but has to be better than the doom and gloom of the usual crew.

He was awful last year. Player in his day but I'd rather we signed younger , hungrier players just like doolan has been doing to date.
