  1. It wouldnt take that long though to send an email providing an update though on when details will be provided on the last AGM, that could probably be done quickly
  2. I didnt Megan was leaving, the fact so many people are leaving after a short time in post is not a good look for the club at all
  3. i supposed if they do not produce the same amount of leisure wear or training wear as Greaves there is a silver lining - my bank account will not be taking such a hammering as it was under the Greaves deal haha
  4. Good point FT Have to say looking at the new strip that TJF are selling with the Partick Thistle Tartan made by Macron, if thats the high standard we will be getting from them then maybe the Greaves and ONeils deal wont be as big a loss as I thought. Obviously will depend on the quality of the material but the photo of the strip looks brilliant and i made sure i have got one for my son and a couple of other people. Very impressed and a great design
  5. Like you Martin i loved the publicity from the Greaves deal, the merchandise and it being easy to reach in the city centre. I have heard however that the way the Greaves deal was set up is that the club barely received a penny for it and income wise it was by far Greaves that got the ideal deal, so in that sense i can see why they have decided to go with someone else, if Greaves were not willing to adjust. It doesnt sound like a great deal for the club was negotiated although this may have taken place during Covid anyway when most shops etc were closed or on furlough. Although not entirely sure how far renegotiating went to get a better deal. It looks like financially any agreement with Macron or whoever will obviously benefit the club far more.
  6. i realise im being pedantic but maybe the club dont want other clubs knowing how much income we will likely have received. Although its probably unlikely it would have a huge impact on this scenario but potentially could if another club may get a rough idea of how much we can put towards trying to sign a player or not if this other club is looking to sign the same player.
  7. at this stage tickets are being sold right up till kick off so in reality they cant announce how many tickets sold anyway, for all we know there could be another few hundred sold anyway before the game starts
  8. thats a good question - i dont know for sure although if so then it means our usual attendance figures of 3900 would include season ticket holders too and its still going to be a lot more income for the club than most other games
  9. I see someone posted a link on Facebook from 15 minutes ago stating that we had now sold 6000 tickets. still a few hours to go yet would be a great bit of income if that figure kept increasing. The last few times we have had attendances over 6000 have been when we had Celtic in the cup and the play off games and in these games we had to give half the gate money to Celtic while in the playoff games the SPFL takes half the gate, at least with tonights when stewarding and police costs have been deducted its all for the club
  10. I think some of the critiscism of Fitzpatrick is a little bit harsh, he was being deliberately targetted by the Morton players and was hacked down 3 or 4 times. This happens most games where the opposition clearly see him as a threat and target him. While the game itself is was not a cracker it was yet another reminder of this teams never say die attitude. Whether it be Alex's last minute brilliant goal or Ethans incredible block on the line, this squad does not give up. Onto friday and hopefully a full house on friday night to back the players and even be a nice wee payday for the club since we need the money as well. I think i heard that hospitality is already sold out as well
  11. thats incredibly generous of you Kenny. Ordered my book and looking forward to it. Well done to the incredible work you and the others have done as part of the 150th anniversary committee its been much appreciated
  12. i was hoping they might release a 150th anniversary commerative strip, but as of yet i have not read anywhere that the club are going to be selling one
  13. i think we get £30k if we go out tomorrow but £50k if we progress to the next round
  14. Though our cup runs have been an improvement on last season, which will have generated some kind of income. Lets hope that continues both tomorrow and on saturday
