I’m on holiday in Turkey (lucky me). Does anyone know if I will be able watch the game on my laptop or phone?

First week I’ve said this mind. I’ve not been positive before now.

Thought we were massively improved today and very unlucky to lose. We looked the fitter and stronger team and had two cleared off the line. Even after QOS scored we pressed them. Should of had a penalty at the end. We played well for 90 mins. Problem position is still Eliott he just doesn’t offer enough going forward. Doolan wasnt invoved enough either. No failures today. I feel more positive than at any time recently.

The first half was awful with Miles Storey at the centre of it. Time and again breaking down promising moves. He’s not got the intelligence or final ball to play out wide. In my years watching Thistle I’ve rarely seen a more ineffectual player. He’s badly in need of being dropped and I think his presence in the team also negatively impacts Eliot. Fitzpatrick deserves a run of games. Caldwell has shown nothing yet other than a fitter looking team. Still playing down the wings and in front of teams which just doesn’t suit our personnel. Doolan and Quitongo have the makings of a partnership.

Well it’s taken me two weeks but I’m seriously concerned about Gary Caldwell’s view of both games. The truth is that Ayr were stronger, more aggressive and more dangerous team. They absolutely deserved their victory today. They continued to hurt us in dangerous areas. Shankland could have got in five times had we not defended the one twos by the skin of our teeth. We’re playing football in areas that teams can easily defend. We play a series of intricate passes on the wing that invariably break down and on the rare occasion a player gets free we don’t have the quality to cross. And if we do get a ball in there’s no one in the middle to bully defenders to score from those sorts of crosses. It’s such a shit way of playing no wonder we don’t score goals. Then at the other end we get caught in possession and gift goals. Were relegation fodder I genuinely don’t think we would have the fight against any team in this league. So how Statto and Caldwell can see this as positive truly amazes me. At least Archie would have said today wasn’t good enough. Gutted.

Storey is a total waste of space. Doesn’t have the talent or the mentality for this division. It amazes me the way we’ve stuck with both him and Spittal for so long. Genuinely they are lixury players who give one good game in ten or 20. We need to get shot of these players and have guys like Quitongo playing every week who will give the same consistency of performance that you need to win a division.

Correct decision. Been a long long time since I’ve seen a Thistle team play for 90 minutes. Just not enough intensity or consistency in our play. Now time to find the right manager. This squad is good enough to do well.

Can you definitely watch live in UK? Jagzone were only allowed to broadcast games live to overseasa subscribers last year due to broadcasting rights.

I don’t think any of the guys mentioned are truly wide players. Would be nice to get a real winger that can go inside or outside. Someone like Jordan Jones. I think we’ve lacked players that can beat a man. Only really Erskine in recent years.

Miles Storey typified our season and was a huge disappointment. His first touch is honking. I actually think he’s probably a half decent finisher but his first touch is so stinking he didn’t give himself a chance. Strikes me as a bit of a confidence player. Anyway, not good enough to dislodge Dools and I think he needs to be playing through the middle on the shoulder of the last defender. And he needs someone in midfield that can play through balls. Someone we’ve really missed in the last few years. For typifying last season I cant wait to see him leave.

We don't look fit. Sammon should have been subbed well before he failed to shut down Christie to put the cross in for the winning goal. We were totally out of gas with 20 minutes to go. Aberdeen always looked likely to get the winning goal.

Tads has scored 39 goals in his last 85 games with Cluj, Steau, and some Quatar mob. Seems pretty decent to me. 22 goals in 50 for Cluj is excellent. I'd take him.

We've returned to being a team of wee players that are easily outmuscled all over the park. Underselling Lindsay and selling Azeez with no replacement has left us weak and lacking pace.
