I also remember watching Thistle v Celtic in there with my Dad and being surrounded by Celtic fans. It's my earliest football memory and was around 1977 I think - could be 2 years either way I guess. Remember Thistle scoring and cheering and then being growled at by the surrounding Celtic hard men. I was 6 or 7 years old ffs. Anyway, despite my best attempts, I'm unable to find the exact game anywhere in the archives. Assume it was League and think we lost 3-1.

Hope he picks it up. It's nothing against Rudden, it's more me getting more picky the older I get. I put Benzema in the same camp as Rudden and McBurnie and he's at Real Madrid. Obviously a place for this type of player but they're not for me.

I'm unlikely to ever appreciate a Rudden / McBurnie type of player. They look awkward and their timing is never right.

Similar to me dl. I've supported for 50 years too and bought my first ST. Usually only get to a few games a season these days but will make more of an effort now. Have you worked out how to get / use the ST yet? I was hoping for a card or something but so far only have details saying I've bought it.

I think I get this. 'Alexithymia is the inability to express emotions or to understand others' emotions' WJ, due to the nature of his job, perhaps, is looking at the probable outcome only. Despite his love of Thistle, he can't see past that outcome. - sorry about the Bold text, can't switch off. The rest of us feel the pain from an unjust decision from an unregulated shower of shite and only want one thing, a fair result. Looking back, we can all now agree that this was as likely as Thistle ever having a player described as a 'Penalty King'. Time will move on but I will never forget this day, ever! Being a Thistle fan, I've felt cheated on many occasions but this really takes the biscuit. There will now be two celebrations after each win; 1. Our victory 2. The defeat of our rivals
