  1. Good luck to young Ava in her career. I'm sure she'll be disappointed with her positioning at the first Rangers goal when she watches the replay. She left so much space on her right, I thought it was one of these 'fair play' incidents where you let the opposition score.
  2. Wow, worth coming just for that goal. What a cracker!
  3. Jeez oh, we must have somebody else who can play in goal. Stewart's gonna be a bag of nerves in front of the Jags support second half.
  4. And that's a perfect example of our defending just now...just awful.
  5. Best striker in the league pounces again! I'm sure we'll score again but the fragility of our defence gives you the shivers.
  6. Once again, we huff and puff and go a goal down. Still, plenty of time to pull it back, just need cooler heads around the box.
  7. Wow, what a stoater from Bannigan. Almost getting emotional watching him celebrate. It obviously means a lot to him that goal.
  8. Couldn't agree more. Just caught the last 15 mins but it looked like a couple of poor Sunday league teams who lacked basic ball control. Dreadful stuff.
  9. Is that in the official rules, or is it just a courtesy to the referee on the day. I'm wondering what happens in a scenario where the nominated player is actually incapacitated via being physically sick, or cramp etc;.
  10. It still bothers me that during the penalty shoot out Bannigan was clearly feeling stressed as his turn was approaching. Having your head in your hands does not give off the right body language at all. His team captain, or Doolan should have noticed this and given him the option of opting out. His confidence must have been dented by his display during the time he was on the pitch, not that he's suddenly a bad player, just that his style of play was not suited to this occasion. Btw, I hope the Thistle fan who thought it clever to taunt and abuse the County player at the throw-in feels like the proper dick he clearly is.
  11. Heading off soon on my motorbike to Dingwall. Hope all Jags fans have a terrific day, win or lose. If we go up, great, if we don't we have a good manager and squad heading into next year, so exciting times ahead. Big well done to Kris and the team for giving us a great end to the season. C'mon Jags!!!
  12. Thanks Scotty. I live down in Ayrshire so have to phone in. I'll keep trying.
  13. Are tickets for Dingwall available today? I can't get an answer when phoning the office.
  14. btw I just downloaded my ticket for the Ayr game and noticed the vat. Therefore, on total ticket sales of £100, the chancellor takes a cut of £20, the Spfl pockets £34 and we arel left with £46.
  15. Don't think so. The way I read that, if revenue was a £100, the SPFL would get £42.50 and the club gets £57.50.
  16. He also defended like a primary school kid for the second Raith goal. Poor positional awareness and caught ball watching. Our team captain really has to do better in such vital games.
  17. Brilliant goal. The pace and move leading up to that goal was terrific. Keep it up Jags!
  18. Still friggin' raging at this result and if our coaching team are not then we do have have a serious problem. Haven't looked at who's up next to pump us, though it doesn't matter, for this team have to win next week or he and his coaching staff should do what's best for the club and walk.
  19. Game over for McCall & Co surely. I'm absolutely sick of these absolutely gutless performances from a team of headless chickens, the lack of leadership on and off the field and the lack of commitment and sheer professionalism in our approach to games in comparison to other leagues in this league.
  20. I think "freakish wonder strike" is a bit harsh. Surely that's one of the best free kick goals you'll see this season. I'd take one like that from a Jags player any day of the week.
  21. Sorry to hear this. I would like to thank you for all the time and work you've put into the forum over the years. It's a source of fun and information vital to any Jags fan and would be badly missed. Personally, my main interest is what happens on the pitch. If it's the 'football politics', which can be so tedious, that's causing the problem then the sooner these people disappear up their own backsides the better.
  22. Absolute cracker! Well done Camillian, much appreciated.
