The ref was quite right to add on the time he did. Even played about a minute after Graham's goal. Qp's time wasting in injury time was comical. The tactic seemed to be foul a Thistle player and lie down injured for 2 minutes. Pretty sure it happened about 3 times.

Unfortunately the SPFL don't give a flying **** about fairness.

Think it might have been Gareth Evans that scored. Billy MacDonald gifted them a goal with one of the worst free kicks in the history of football.

Pretty sure we had that ref a few games ago (possibly Dundee) and remember thinking he was completely useless. He basically continued in the same vein yesterday. Had assumed he'd seen something I'd missed for the sending off, but just watched on Jagzone and it's a complete joke. It gets a bit testy but even yellow cards for that would be harsh. Even worse it's Lawless and Cardle that were having a go at each other. What Docherty is sent off for, Christ alone knows. Both clubs really should complain about this; that's two players with two match bans for no reason whatsoever.

I was going to post something about yesterday's debacle, but you've pretty much said it for me. On bonfire night the loudest noise to be heard all day was Thistle's bottle crashing at half-time.

As for Muirhead being 60% fit, well I suppose it's better than Brownlie at about 5%. What the hell is going on at Firhill. Queen's Park and Ayr were a shambles, but that was a different level of shite today. Looked little more than a disinterested pub team. Thank God Raith settled for what they had at half-time.

That's two games in a row we've been well beaten by teams that look more organised, committed and quite frankly fitter. Nowhere near good enough, totally embarrassed by the last two performances. Maybe a bit of a knee-jerk reaction but can't help thinking that our season is shot.

Wonderfully informative statement on the club's website. Single sentence with absolutely no explanation as to why the game has been rearranged. I would imagine it's to do with public transport issues on Xmas eve and that's a perfectly good reason, but why not just say that?

Muirhead and Holt both have experience at full back. Can't understand why Akinola wasn't played in the centre and one of the aforementioned moved to cover McMillan. Seemed a strange decision and ultimately cost us. Don't have much complaint about the red card, it was a poor challenge. Ref might have given a yellow but that would have been lenient.

I think that's what disappointed me more than anything else about the Falkirk game. So many players with the opportunity to put in a performance and stake a claim for a regular start and it was all so half-hearted. As you say, made McCall's selection rather easy.

My impression was that they didn't bother to take minutes. They don't implicitly state that though, so it does kind of leave you guessing.

Yes, haven't been able to access the site on my phone for the past few months. Had been using it for years prior to these problems. It's a Chrome browser. Moved onto my laptop (Microsoft Edge) but that developed the same problem about a week ago. Have downloaded Chrome on my laptop and that's working for now.

I've carried out a forensic examination of both offside decisions and the report is that they were both as tight as a duck's arse. Honestly can't reach a definite conclusion after multiple freeze frames on both decisions. When it's that tight think you have to cut the linesmen some slack and just accept what they decide. Although not sure if I'd be saying that if we'd lost 2-1. The linesman for their disallowed goal took a fair time thinking about it.

Good overall performance. Feeling a bit more positive about the season ahead after that. Turner looks a different player through the middle. Muirhead and Milne both top class, even Smith was half decent. Only downside was running out of steam in the last 15 mins. Great fun winning the pens though.
