  1. I think we all deserve some sort of response from our Chief Executive regarding the state of our pitch. More than a few weeks ago we heard the club were bringing in a pitch expert and we would do what we had to do with the pitch following this inspection.. I attended the game yesterday with a friend and I totally embarrassed with the state of the pitch. A huge mud hole right in front of us was evident even before the game started, we even had the cheek to put on the sprinklers just prior to the kick off. Our full/wing back McKenna appeared to be unwilling to make any runs down this wing (who could blame him) he is one of our limited attacking options. At half time our ground staff, 2 men with pitch forks never came near the mud hole, have even they given up. I have some sympathy for the ground men, the weather has been crap, but do we really rely on 2 men with pitch forks ? We need answers, the mud hole has been there for months, surely some sort of temporary re turfing was possible this area. Is the club skint, has the club given up trying to get to the playoffs, have the players given up due to the state of the pitch. On paper we have a a talented group of players who like to play football, they need a pitch to play the Partick Thistle way Rumours are adrift about Fans Ownership, 3 Black Cats etc etc We as fans are very loyal, playoffs are still possible, at the start of the season we would have taken where we are right now. The Manager is an honest man, he has made selection mistakes, Jamie made mistakes yesterday but we all need to get behind the team, Tuesday night is key to our season . Gerry/Jacqui where are you, we need answers . . We sat the in JHS close to the JLS, a huge mud hole was evident
  2. Hello Jags Fans, Big game on Tuesday night so I have started this new thread. I am fed up with the McCall chat, not happy with the new Chairman but lets get back to football chat. First issue for Tuesday is the pitch playable, the forecast for the next couple of days does not look to bad after heavy showers this afternoon, but is the damage done after so much rain over the weekend. The team, where do we start ? Fox or Sneddon, Fox appeared to have a good game v Rangers reserves but like most others I think Sneddon should be given a chance. I hope Williamson is fit again, we need his crosses for Graham and Rudden to attack the QOS defence, I am sure Morton did that yesterday. We need Darren MacKinnon to protect the defence, maybe not the quickest but this is a battle now and he has previous. O'Ware and Brownlee in central defence need to be given time to gel but we need to stop giving goals away. Reece Cole needs to recover some form or get dropped. I am looking forward to seeing Graham and Rudden up front hopefully Rudden is fully fit. Zanatta is an other who needs to up his game, guy has plenty to offer but needs to turn up. I will leave the rest to the gaffer, in McCall we trust nut we need to start getting results.
  3. Don't know about anyone else, I am now fed up with this topic, lets get back to talking about football. Our fixtures in March are going to define our season, lets get behind McCall, the Board, the ball boys, the pie sellers, let's get positivity into everything Partick Thistle. Let's use yesterdays bounce game as a stepping stone to a successful March.
  4. Where will be the designated Singing Area, hopefully right behind Celtics dugout !!!!!!
  5. Did anyone notice if Tam O'Ware was training today in the pictures published earlier today, we need him in the team against the Arabs.
  6. Barnsley looking for a new Head Coach, bet Gary is busy updating his Power Point Presentation.
  7. Thanks for this evenings AGM updates, any mention or details on the consortium's plans or timing
  8. anyone else having trouble listening to Jagzone ?
  9. Fantastic news, welcome back boys and welcome to Thistle, Neil Scally. Great work by David Beattie, Gerry and the board. Now David, how about a call to Colin Weir and end all this Chinese /American billionaire talk. Great day to be a jags fan.
  10. I just wonder, the club have rightly in my mind come forward with a statement about a certain song. I just wonder, if the fans start singing Caldwell get to f---, if the club will listen and act !!!!!!
  11. Caldwell must go, 2 out of 15 is totally unacceptable, no more excuses. If the current board will not do it, time for a change has come. Where is Chien Lee ? If Mr Lee is not coming, sign the club over to the fans. Who should replace Caldwell, I would love McCall /Doolan but that is not happening anytime soon. Kenny Miller is worth a try until the end of the season at least he shows passion and fight and indeed knows how to score goals. Totally brassed off tonight, we have played 2 part time teams and have amassed 2 points, but we have had a great week training, boys are raring to go, lots of positives to take on to Dunfermline, ha ha
  12. Exciting line up, lets get behind the boys.
  13. You are maybe right but he was still our most dangerous player.
