Unfortunately it's too late now but the opportunity to be part of an area of the city that's only going to grow in value and population over the next generation with a new bridge and transport links into the city centre would have guaranteed new fans attracted to a stadium that has 21st Century amenities and not 19th. Sadly, yet appropriately, the club is stuck forever with a decrepit and decaying stadium already hemmed in on every side, redevelopment an impossibility. Hopefully the next lottery winner will invest where it matters and not in fantasy training grounds.
