Not many options to be sure but plenty of lessons …..

1 recruitment has been poor the idea that doolan knows a player ( presumably based on the fact he was one ) has been shown to be way off the mark…..a complete overhaul of this is required

2 the squad construction needs a rethink 4 goalkeepers , 8 midfielders is madness ….we have been short in central defence all season

3 coaching….who is doing the defensive coaching …..it’s simply dreadful

4 tactics…..we have been averaging 1.5 goals a game all season but doolan only changed personnel and formation in February

Doolan couldn’t spot a player at a World Cup Final

Good to come back but our form is looking like the name of some North Wales village...

I understand why Doolan went with the same set up as last week but I don't fully get Milne being moved in to centre back, when he can be such a strength down the wing and defending when at left back.

Unsurprisingly we didn't create much and there was no defensive benefit from the formation as we slipped rather meekly, 2 - 0 down.

I hope we have a more creative player in the middle of the park vs Raith and Harry at left back, because Ngwenya didn't impress me much.

Hopefully Tomi's injury isn't too bad but looks like he could be out for a while.

    Onwards and sideways...

shameful behaviour from the manager to play the most offensive full back in the championship at centre back

should be sacked for that outrageous desicion alone

GIANT PITCH MEANS YOU DO THE FOLLOWING

you play a ball player in Bannigan

move Nielsen  back to centre back

have Milne bombing up and down the park

  3. Any of you crackpots think we’re bringing good youth players need a right good boot in the baws

these youth players playing 1st team football for our club wouldn’t get a game at U21 in Paisley and District on a ****** Saturday morning

standards of our club have dropped both at boardroom and ****** substitutes , embarrassing frankly , we have a fan base of spotty faced U30s who have never had there hole trying to be the vocal point of club and run things

get a big ****** grip please

I think he is inferring that Dominic has never played at a particularly high level, Hemel Hempstead last season. Even Messi had to start somewhere, so if a scout spotted something and he looked OK in training, why not give him a chance in a friendly?

    Afternoon Dick !

Dominic is 25 playing pub league football and freed from every club he’s played for

Messi was 13 year old when signing for Barcelona and the worlds best every player
Your  post makes no sense at all

it’s league I want to win not being relegated due to dross signings

So the numbers are (mostly) automated.

Whenever someone completes the sign-up form, it allocates a new number. By default, it doesn't re-use a number of a lapsed member. Sometimes there are bugs which cause numbers to be skipped too. If someone lapses and rejoins, we reactivate their original membership number, but that then leaves their new number vacant.

So essentially, your number doesn't tell you very much about how many members we have. The highest membership number right now is 1805, but we have only 1567 active members.

Either way, monthly revenue now exceeds our fundraising target, but we also need a buffer to cover operating expenses and to enable us to do things over and above the Club pledge (like hosting members events, working capital for Thistle Pins, sponsoring the women's team, helping Jags For Good/PT Charitable Trust etc.

We also want to be able to provide more support to the Club around the time of the transfer windows, but that will depend on building a prudent buffer first. The more folk pledge, the easier that is to do.

That’s one way of losing members, simply if they want to play they need to be self funded

Just back. Was a decent game played at a good pace. Obviously ended up a tad scrappy with so many trialists aboard. Thought Kerr looked fine on the ball. The No 6 looked a good footballer in midfield but he didn't get in many tackles, not that he shirked them. The No 7 who scored is fast on his feet and looked useful. Played in a sort of "Lawless" position.

Number 6 CV on transfermarkt wouldn’t get him a trial with Dukla Pumpherston

McAvoy looks a class above most if not all in our division, at least on a par with Harry Milne. It looked serious unfortunately.

It would have been possible to catch Gretna 2 if we had won yesterday  and with a fit McAvoy and Milne who both add defensive assurance and creativity.

It looks like 2nd is our best hope.

Morton were right up for it. We eventually got on top because it’s impossible to keep up that intensity for 90 minutes. They’re streetfighters, inspired by a streetfighting manager but not a football team. Both Crawfords, who can playlooked out of place.

All of their back 3 could have been booked for persistent fouling, a law the ref appeared oblivious to.
We dont play well against these teams. So I’m happy with a point.

club saying nothing about McAvoy injury, hope it’s not serious
