Back to floodlights, I've long wondered whether the vast surface of the JH stand roof (and maybe even the main stand roof) would be suitable for solar panels. I've seen tennis courts that get lit that way, albeit it admittedly in a sunnier country!

I thought it was almost a carbon copy of the QP game. Yes, we tried to move the ball a bit faster, but faster sideways passing doesn't actually get us nearer to scoring, there needs to be more running at/around/through defences, rather than inevitable getting our to our wingers who are then standing still and often already double-marked (e.g. Drozd). Our final passes too often overhit or just wild (Smyth again!) and if our crosses even manage to get past the first defender, we just don't have a striker of anything near the class of Doolan or Graham. What does look very good at the moment is our defence, thank goodness.

Maybe that should be "lone" striker, because Watt and Samuels, for all their good work, aren't really strikers (imo).

I need to pay more attention to Smyth, as I probably focus on the awful wayward passes that seem to be guaranteed in every game.
