  1. 1. I never said there was. 2. Agreed. 3. Who made such claims? 4. Yes, he's trolling, but he didn't catch me. What he was hoping for was some union-jack flag waving, orange brigade response, which thankfully nobody has given. That lot are just as unwelcome as the other lot, but again, I'm not averse to taking their money then having nothing whatsoever to do with them.
  2. Count me out of your campaign. I'm Scottish, don't consider myself "British", and do not support British military involvement in either Afghanistan or Libya. Frankly, your post is bonkers.
  3. This is starting to sound like The Life of Brian. What difference does it make whether the money goes through the Trust or Wearethistle? The important thing is that the club gets the money, isn't it?
  4. I was actually impressed with all of the cheques for thousands of pounds that were being announced at half-time when we were there recently. As they'd already survived their crisis by paying all their creditors almost nothing, then all of that new money was presumably going towards their "new regime".
  5. This has already been discussed somewhere on this forum. It's an excellent scam opportunity for players to put themselves in the shop window.
  6. Hmm, I never particularly like to see the h*ns or tims at Firhill, but accept it for the money we get and the possibility of a rare victory over them. But some of the reactions on here to the news that we'll be playing a tims 11 in a pre-season friendly seem OTT. I don't remember any such reactions, for example, when a tims 11 came over to play in the Kenny Arthur testimonial. Or the Molly Stallon match, for that matter.
  7. I'm pretty confident that Campbell will be ready to feature a lot more next season.
  8. Sigesige, what do you think about the affair "Noriko pi" a year or two ago?
  9. That's a good point. There are some folk who would buy the strip without a sponsor's logo but not with a logo. If the aim is to maximize income then both versions should be offered, at least for some time.
  10. I suggested the very same thing a while back, requiring the simplest tweak of the rules imaginable. An additional advantage is that it eliminates any controversy about who the ball hit last before it hit the woodwork. If I recall correctly, I even sent an e-mail to the SFA about it. Was it given any serious consideration? Well,... I'll leave it at that.
  11. That would make a great pub quizz item.
  12. We're playing them; welcoming them is another matter.
  13. As long as the wife doesn't know about it.
  14. It looks like a case of "They can't be any worse than what we already had."
  15. Good shout. Agreed; if it was down to one or the other, I'd also prefer Tade.
  16. Kevin McKinlay released by Morton. A left-footed player who, while not great, can do a job in defence or further upfield on the left wing. Worth another contract at Firhill?
  17. Is Damon Gray still with Berwick?
  18. Hardie, Buchanan, Boyle...... How come we're no' in the SPL?
  19. Women tennis players should not be allowed to use rackets or balls. They should instead be required to run back and forth along baseline hurling grunts and screaming/squealing at each other until the umpire is suitably impressed or excited and awards a point.
  20. I wouldn't expect any truly radical change of direction from Doncaster or the SPL, nest of (arse)-vipers!
  21. Just signed up for this, with the Jags Trust as my "cause".

Looking forward to Nadal vs. Murray. Well done to Murray on getting this far having looked in big trouble both in this match and his last one.
