Having started the match thread for a game against a team we had failed to beat in all previous league games this season, ie Cove Rangers, I think that I have kept the baton for the similar fixture against Queens Park tomorrow night.
This would be an ideal occasion for a Big Wull team-talk, ie get in among them early doors, take the initiative and score when you are in the ascendancy.
All these things we have failed to do in the first 3 league games, and our defence has been unpicked by some neat and clinical, but eminently preventable moves, topped up by the elementary mistake of not marking the tallest player on the pitch at a corner.
If we can get ahead in the first half I will be reasonably confident, but the longer we fail to score, the more likely it is that Owen Coyle's trademark grin will be haunting us yet again.
I really hope that Banzo continues the proactive front-foot form that he belatedly rediscovered at Cove, and that at least one (preferably both) of Scott Tiffoney and Stevie Lawless is in electric mood. We can do this!
