Cup Draw

The last time Thistle faced Hamilton in the Scottish Cup, Hearts played Celtic and Rangers faced Kilmarnock, while St. Mirren played ICT!

We beat Accies 5-1 too.

Snowing it was too, lucky to get the game finished, some poor lad next to me had backed the Jags to win 5-0

to say he was peed off when the Accies got a consolation goal was an understatement

Yep, was at that game too. Remember it snowing really heavily - wasn't kick off delayed by almost an hour as well? And a peach Jamie Mitchell lob for our fourth/fifth goal? And a Hamilton player kicking the dug out in a huff after he was subbed.

Certainly better than playing any of the top teams away or others on another plastic pitch. Let's hope we don't need a replay.

It's not the fault of the Cup competitions that throw up so many repetitive games. Fault lies with daft league structure that breeds the over-familiarity,

Archie agrees

Said on another thread that I would expect us to beat Hamilton every time we play them. We should win this.

Shame that we have drawn a team in our own league though, possible that we will be playing them five times now this season. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..............
