The Earl of Hathaway
I'd like to get this game played tomorrow if at all possible - Motherwell had an energy-sapping draw on Saturday and getting them out on a heavy pitch tomorrow night is not what they will want. If we do play tomorrow, I think we've got a right good chance.....
stillresigned
Without any inside knowledge whatsoever, I wouldn't have too much confidence about tomorrow's game going ahead. Whether that's a good thing, bad or indifferent remains to be seen.
Norgethistle
Forecasts for more rain tonight and tomorrow, will be touch and go as to whether it's on or not, pitch must have taken a load of rain today alone. Hope it's on been looking forward to being back
stillresigned
Anyone have any idea of whether or not and when there will be a pitch inspection?
partickthedog
I park every day (for free) at Port Dundas Wakeboard and walk down via Speirs Wharf to the city centre. Never seen so much angry water sloshing about as there was in the canal today!
ThickAsThieves
How's it looking this morning guys? Game on or game off?

allyo
Just looked up the bbc preview on my phone and first thing it says is "this game has been postponed". But is suspect it's a hangover from the previous game. And another example of the fantastic bbc service.
Jaggernaut
Nothing on the official site (yet) to indicate postponed.
lady-isobel-barnett
The wording lacks the confidence of getting Saturday's game on. http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2015-2016/february_2016/pitch_condition_update
Big Col
The weather forecast is for more wind and rain and low temperatures, making the game a farce in very tough playing conditions. So how about the fans (and players) are put first for a change, and the game is called off now. Even if the pitch is playable it'll be no fun sitting watching blow football. Gnome on the Bing
Heavy rain expected at around 5pm, continuing through the evening. Doesn't look particularly promising. Just hope an announcement's made before I step onto the train.

clarencegarter
The club asking for volunteers to distribute the red and yellow cards. That surely must be a positive sign that they think the game will go ahead?
potty trained
The club asking for volunteers to distribute the red and yellow cards. That surely must be a positive sign that they think the game will go ahead? Or that the ref is stuck in traffic?

Aberdeenjag
I phoned the club at 10.30 and they said the ground staff were working on the pitch but that there was no planned inspection so as far as they were aware game was on. Noted in the official site preview that Archie thought Saturday's game should have been played
