it wasn't pretty, but massive win last night ..... archie got all his subs and tactical changes right, and the thistle players and management got what they wanted, and rightly earned ..... while moaning mcghee and his players got what they deserved, square root of nothing.

ref was erratic and seemed scared to book, or even sometimes talk to motherwell players, and our four recipients of his yellow card were excellent in their discipline after seeing his raised arm.

credit to all the jags players for last night, given the underfoot conditions particularly, the togetherness of their celebrations at the full time whistle matched the wild delight in the northy when we scored. magnificent.

as for the first half sideshow, it apparently all started after a well boi assaulted a steward (while not in the young bois area) and then ran and played hide and seek ..... police as well as well bois swinging fresh air punches was a bit extreme though, no one comes out of it looking clever.

and where we're all the cards? was in ground ten minutes before kickoff, there wasn't two thousand in the ground at that point, but was told they'd run out?

onwards and northeastwards we go though to the shitehole this weekend, fancy us to turn on the style and dump the tangerine dayglo duds out the cup with a three or four goal winning margin ..... assuming welsh doesn't start (sorry sean son but you need a rest).
