Alan Murray
Yes. One good thing is it will be the end of Corbyn.
Garscube Road End
Yes. One good thing is it will be the end of Corbyn. I firmly believe it will be the end of the Labour Party in it's present guise. I see a total split and the left wingers and moderates forming new parties.
Exiled AusJag
I hope there's a good turnout of voters. I wonder if compulsory voting (as we have in Oz) would make a difference
Pinhead
Pointless election and waste of money, if it was gonna be a close run thing it may get exciting but the tories will scoosh it and wouldn't be surprised if labour were wiped out in england as they have been in scotland. Jaggernaut
So are we looking at a thumping Tory majorit and a total wipe out of Labour? In Scotland? Labour wipe out: Yes. Tory majority: Not a chance in hell. SNP majority: Definitely.
sabbath
frightening. It would appear to suggest that there is the potential for a huge shift to the Right. If Adolf had been into democratic elections, an election 3 years early would be the way to go. Sadly, I don't feel the rest of Scotland realize the urgency for Independence. Being the lapdog to the USA has no appeal...................
