Vinnyjag
With the fixtures for the new season out tomorrow, I am hoping for a relatively easy start with preferred first 4 games being Dundee H, Accies A, County H and Killie A
Stephen1876
Reckon we will be away on Day 1 as home last year.

Knightswood Jag
What odds on another free Saturday when Celtic go off on a jolly? Mark my words 2nd game of the season v Celtic ...Cancelled
JeanieD
I fear we could get either (or even both) of the bigotwins in the first month and certainly have one (and obviously even 2 games) cancelled.
jaggy
If we are the home team can the away team cancel the match? I thought only a home team could do it. We've had it done 3 times to us

CillitB4ng
Tough start to the season for us. Hibs away, celtic at home then St Johnstone in Perth.
JAG1970
Is this the annual occurrence when our August game against Celtic is postponed due to them having something more glamorous to do?
oneteaminglasgow
Is this the annual occurrence when our August game against Celtic is postponed due to them having something more glamorous to do? I'm almost 100% sure that they can only postpone home games, so no. Hibs is a great away day, and living in Edinburgh is ideal for me. Can't ******* wait. king of spain
Jeezo thats a tough start. Roughly looking 14th October at Home to Killie the 1st home game you would expect a win.
G13 jag
Our first 7 games are against last season's top 5, plus Hibs and Ross County. Difficult start to the season.
Wayfarer
..and we still get 2 of the longest away trips in midweek Aberdeen 27/12 & Ross Co 28/02.....
ThickAsThieves
"Inter 2 - 0 Celtic: I’d rather have played Partick says boss" Surely Celtic won't be taking another friendly if the manager doesn't want it? Hibs away's a cracking start.
marco77
Away to Hibs for the 1st game is a good way to start the season as its always a decent day out.
JAGSMAN1968
7 games in December! 4 wed night games December and January!! no wed night games August nor September! How exactly do the clowns that compile the fixtures come up with this??? and as already mentioned, Dingwall and Aberdeen away on wednesday nights!! really bemusing!!! shouldn't really be surprised though, same old same old. Mr Bunny
A really tough start but we should still be able to take points from St Johnstone, Hibs and County (with an outside chance of something v Aberdeen since we got them at home). We'll need to hit the ground running though but the fact they are tough fixtures should concentrate the players' minds. Anyone notice only 3 real Derbies on 30th December? They could have given us Killie at home and made Ross County play Aberdeen to give two more derby-like (at least) games and of course had Hibs v Hearts that day too instead of the 27th. Of course the only factor they'd bothered to feed into the computer is make sure there's an OF game and bugger the rest. At least we're at home with a winnable game. lady-isobel-barnett
Away to Hibs for the 1st game is a good way to start the season as its always a decent day out. Agree. The Embra festival will have just kicked off. That could either be an inconvenience or a bonus I suppose? I see two of our evening fixtures at Firhill are against the ugly sisters. Imo that's a good result as there'll be no drop in away attendance. For the Jags fans that don't attend they're not losing out on a Saturday. Probably not take too much of a hit with the 'Well game either. The two away evening games are of course rubbish but at least they don't impact financially on the Club.
