thru thin and thin
Doolan should start as he deserves to treated as our 1st choice striker, Sammon is a natural replacement at some point later in the game. Also start with Storey, with Spittal his replacement if needed.
Barney Rubble
Callum Booth out for 12 weeks apparently. - posterior knee ligament damage. Edited August 24, 2017 by Barney Rubble
elevenone
Callum Booth out for 12 weeks apparently. This is terrible news, both first choice full backs long term crocks. I would imagine Elliot will switch to left now and Milan into right back unless Penrice gets recalled or pennies left in kitty for another signing? I think Turnbull can slot into left back but from what Ive seen so far I'd prefer him in the middle.
Garscube Road End
Archie looking for a left back.
Stephen1876
So frustrating that we let Penrice go on loan the day before - our rotten luck with injuries continues. Speedy recovery to Callum, hope to see him back soon. Ross Fleming looks a good prospect but he is just a bit young to throw in.
jagfox
I'll trust in the manager, as long as it's not Stevie Lawless at left wing back
lady-isobel-barnett
That's a good lineup the only changes I would make are Doolan in for Storey and Edwards in for either Bannigan or Osman as that midfield looks a bit slow. Get your point about more pace needed in midfield but you would select Doolan to play in front of Spittal, Erskine & Lawless. Pace needed in attack and that's a rather slow attacking four. sandy
I'd rest Lawless for this game and have Doolan, Storey, Spittal and Erskine providing the moves
clarencegarter
Would defo drop lawless. Been hopeless in all the league games this season. If Spittal is fit I would start him instead.

elevenone
I note that Jordan Turnbull is 80/1 first goal or 30/1 anytime scorer. By bookies standards this seems pretty generous if like Liam last season he can throw in a few goals.

By bookies standards this seems pretty generous if like Liam last season he can throw in a few goals. Liam scored more goals last season than Jordan has in his 189 game (to date) career. He did manage a double against West Ham u23s in the EFL Trophy early last season. Hopefully he finds the chances more fruitful up here over the coming months. fatnallyjag
Id go Cerny Keown Devine Turnbull Nitriansky Elliot Bannigan Barton Spittal (if fit) Erskine Storey If Spittal not fit then Sammon or Dools in the line up Aberdeen will likely have 2 up top plus wingers so id go with e 3/5 at back and as much as Abdul adds the dig we are often missing, in these types of games he too often gets booked early n is a liability, Storey should get chance against former team. n for a change we would actually have a good few possible game changers on bench Edited August 25, 2017 by fatnallyjag

MonehJags
I think Spital could be our best player this year and for me he must start today. He can see a pass and is exactly what we have been missing
jagfox
Bring on Ryan Edwards if level with a couple of minutes to go. They don't like Aussies banging in late goals...
