We seem to have found our form at home, but away we have only managed 3 draws in the league this season.St johnstone haven't played since 30th December and not won at home for the last 7 games. If we want to stay in the league we need to get some wins away from Firhill. So lets start that at Perth.

Saints are missing Paton and Davidson tomorrow through suspension, so we really need to be looking to dominate the midfield tomorrow.

They are also down Easton and Foster so we should be causing them problems in wide areas too.

Despite our poor away form, we turned in one of our best performances of the season at McDiarmid in the cup and should be looking to do so again

Not really sure we should cede midfield to St Johnstone, especially if Davidson is missing. On the other hand playing a back three might be a safer option to allow Cargill a bit longer to fit in. I know it's an away game and a point at Perth should be considered a good return but I think we should be taking the game to St J. Wee bit more width maybe perhaps?

Interesting to note : McCarthy Penrice Fraser Bannigan Nitransky Elliott not featuring at all today ... As 3 of this six are injured Archie has 21 players out of 24 to choose from

This is probably behind his comment on the size of the squad.....for anyone to come in probably somebody has to leave which is nit unreasonable

We also have a strong bench today : Devine Dumbuya Edwards Doolan Barton Spittal
