jagsman411971
Ross County game off. Common sense has once again been shown. Although it seems to have been on Police advice.

Although it seems to have been on Police advice. I'm sure that will surprise no-one. Football authorities are incapable of sensible leadership. I'm sure the SFA will be desperate for the Cup games this weekend to go ahead. Despite the weather that basically closed the country down for two days. Having been handed away games in Glasgow, Morton and Falkirk have, I've no doubt, been further hampered by resources for training this week. Never mind sporting integrity just sweep the snow off the lines and play on.
lady-isobel-barnett
Was just about to dig my car out of the snow. Won't have to for now at least. Downside had already bought a train ticket from Perth. Wish now the SPFL hadn't shown that rare outbreak of commonsense and not switched the fixture date. Is it still there? Really disappointed about game being off as it was meant to be the centrepiece of a weekend trip!
joe the driver
So, will it be back to a midweek game or will common sense prevail again and use the free weekend on March 24th
a f kincaid
They'd surely have been better to have a winter break. Oh haud oan...... The late Bob Crampsey never supported a winter break and always asked those in favour of one when they proposed to have it.

Garscube Road End
Thank God. At least it's another week without waiting on us losing to a 97th minute goal after leading.

lady-isobel-barnett
At the risk of being tagged a happy clapper I do find it slightly strange that the team is getting slated over a game that hasn't been played.

Ross County will not agree to the fixture being played when Scot Fox will presumably be unavailable due to the international fixtures on 23 and 27/03! 2
gianlucatoni
with our buses leaving at 9 a.m. would it not have shown a bit more common sense to get a local ref up there to call it off before 9 a.m.? no excuse for that - pish poor from the staggies/SPFL
Lenziejag
The official website says the game was called off on the advice of Police Scotland. Did Aberdeen and Kilmarnock just ignore that advice ?
eljaggo
Maybe Aberdeen got different or no advice from the police. Naff all to do with Killie. Edited March 3, 2018 by eljaggo
lady-isobel-barnett
Does anyone know if trains were running north of Perth today? If not I may be due a refund. Thanks
Ancipital
I think they were running from Perth-> Inverness but certainly not from Glasgow -> Perth and not sure about Edinburgh -> Perth.
