Never really realised what an utter carthorse Storey, but was able to see it from  close quarters in the JLS. What a donkey.

In fact, and a team of mediocrities led by an ever bigger donkey.

Don’t want to see Storey in a jags shirt again. As much as Doolan has not a poor season how Storey can start before him or Fitzpatrick beggars belief.

incidentally whatever happens over the summer new strikers have to be identified if we can’t keep McDonald.  Doolan will probably stay but surely no one can see he is  still a prolific goal scorer and mansell and Roy are definitely not the answer

I feel the same as you Scotty. Trying to reassure myself as much as you.

Same as yourself , no idea what game or game plan Caldwell was trying to implement, he was right to take Harkins off , no idea what he was thinking taking Cardle of as well .

He takes off all the creativity in the team and when we need goals he puts Doolan into midfield.

Absolutely clueless , our club needs cleared out from top to bottom even if we do stay up

What players would you like to see cleared out?

We started well and scored. After about 20 minutes we stopped playing and Ayr came into it and deserved to win. How on earth did Storey not get on the score sheet, he had 2 great chances in the first 20 minutes.

Probably because he is bloody awful- should never have started

outfought ,out thought

totally inept performance today

we have certainly not improved under gc this season

ayr players strolled through that game today, moffat was given the freedom of firhill

it was as if that was the first time our players had played together

was" informed "today that gc is on a rolling contract

imo he should be rolled right out the main door onto firhill road

Mcginty back in carthorse mode today and gets sponsors MOTM!

That does surprise me. I thought Jamie Sneddon was head and shoulders above any other Thistle player in terms of performance.

Just a well or we could have lost by a few more.

In an ideal world Storey shouldn't be near the squad next week in such a crucial game never mind in the team.

Caldwell shouldn't be near the squad either but I guess we're stuck with him for now.  It's a depressing thought that he be might manager

next season as well.

Some of these players will be back to their parent clubs anyway Bell , Anderson, Mcginty , Storey , Harkins , McMillan, Mansell , Ally Roy

With probably the 3rd highest budget in the league after Ross County and Dundee Utd , surely we should have been able to build a team capable of competing at least for a play off place.

We’ve got to get a manager in to build a football team where players play in their right position every week , play a system that suits the players we’ve got at our disposal so they all know what job they have to do

Ayr played us off the park today without 5 first team players

The worry of many worries about next week is the mentality of this squad.
