elevenone
Off north for what i believe to be the first ever cup meeting with Montrose. Badly needing a morale boosting win and with Montrose currently (like us) propping up their table we can hopefully have a enjoyable day out. Not sure if Banzo and Gordon suspension applies for this one or not but even if not maybe a week off to experiment with midfield pre Arbroath. I would like to see something along the lines of this which would give the new lads some match sharpness and let us see how TOW looks in front of the back four. Hopefully out of Scotland for next round should we proceed. sneddon kakay hall mcginty penrice o’ware de vita cole cardle miller zanatta
Bryza
Like a lot of Jags fans it'll be my first time to Montrose, im pretty sure the last meet in 92 was midweek and being P7 at the time wasn't allowed to go with skool the next morning. Wont be leaving until about 12.30 but should make it in time, hopefully plenty of parking nearby.

Garscube Road End
Last time I was at Montrose is our first promotion season under Lambie, Jim Duffy et al and we won 1-0. A win here again would be nice.
jaf
I was speaking with one of their directors. They have lost two midfielders to injury and one to takeup a managerial position, and so his view is they will massively struggle in midfield. With their form anyway, this ought to be a good day out - a win and a few goals hopefully!

Auld Jag
A crunch game and there will be no crumb's of comfort if we lose. Hope we wrap this game up early on and we don't have a sticky patch.

lady-isobel-barnett
I don't believe the manager should be judged by the team's results in this competition. Win lose or draw (I know it goes to a result) won't alter my opinion of Caldwell. Be far more interested in individual performance and interaction amongst whoever GC selects. Semi Nurainen
To be fair, I agree. So many new faces, he's got to take a chance and let some of the new guys have a crack. Downside of that is yet another shuffling of positions roles and personnel, but cant be helped.
Ancipital
We have 7 central midfielders on the books but only Cole is available (Harkins, Slater, & Wilson injured; Bannigan and Gordon suspended, and Palmer away with NI U21s, which would also have ruled out Gordon even if he wasn't suspended) and he only signed on Monday. Would guess one of Penrice or O'Ware -if out of the bad books- will be shoved into midfield alongside him. Presume Kakay gets a start as well and with Links Park being an astro, anyone who struggles physically on that type of surface doesn't start. partickthedog
Kakay’s JagZone interview gave the impression that he was making his way back to fitness after injury so might not be fit to start for a few weeks. So OK is not OK.

Alan Murray
Is Banzo not just suspended for the Arbroath match? Caldwell needs to play a side that will win but he also wants to give playing time to others that have not had many minutes. Fox will probably start here but this swapping the number one position is not great. Don't think Kenny Miller will start - Got to look after him.,

Can join Mitch Austin on the treatment table , don’t really see the point in signing injured players , think we need players on the park just now .
