Rid Skwerr
That's awful for such a young man. Wishing him a full and speedy recovery. One of my favourite players.
Norgethistle
Get well soon Scott. Horrible for this to happen to someone so young and having recently just became a father
Auld Jag
All the best and lets hope for a good recovery. Remember reading on the way home from an away game Scott had a pot noodle raw, without any water added. Third Lanark
Awful news and such a young age. We think of football players as being so healthy too. get well soon Trigger
joe the driver
I remember our first league game in Inverness. Trigger scored 2 against us, then hitched a lift on our team bus back down the road. Dropped him off at Stirling services I think. We signed him at the end of that season.
partickthedog
Mon the Trigster! We want him back walking along singing a song in his Trigger Wonderland as soon as possible. So many smart finishes where he made the difficult look easy. One I remember best was his combination with Peter Lindau away at Queen of the South to make the game safe at 3-1. Jaggernaut
Wasn't it Trigger who once scored with a nifty back-heeler at Brockville?

Two appearances for us, no goals (according to Wiki). Had spells at 17 different clubs after us.

Weebaw1
Trigger provided some great moments of excitement. Last minute are Caley! What a moment. And his ‘goal’ at Celtic should have taken us to the semis. This was as blatant as the Bobby Houston goal all those years ago. I hope he recovers quickly. Lambies Lost Doo
Why did he not cut it in the top league? Started games at first. Looked decent. Then stopped. Then left quick smart to lower division. Had the ability.
jagfox
Update from Scott lifted from Facebook. Contrary to popular belief I do have a brain. My scan pic from the specialist this morning showing the stroke. My blood pressure topped out at 226/156.. MRI scan horrific. "Thank you all for the lovely messages you had me in tears the other night, I cant reply to them it's taken me all my time to write this. Prognosis is looking good although i need to make some changes. Voice and balance still all over the place. Shattered, and away for rest."
