Ways To Help PTFC

There has been a lot of discussion in another thread about how we as fans approach other clubs and people will have their own views on that and act accordingly. All I wanted to do here is give as many of the options available that our fans can use to help our club without any impact, positive or negative, on other clubs.

Centenary Fund: A lot easier to join now and there are 3 different levels of membership and you can mix these if you wish.

Players Fund: Sign up at what level you want and the money goes to the manager's budget.

Help The Jags: The Gofundme campaign which has so far raised over £50,000 for our club.

Virtual 50/50 Draw: Buy your £1 ticket and have a chance to win half the total. Link below is for this week's draw (remember it is on Friday the 31st).

Red & Yellow Merchandise: Get yourself kitted out for the heatwave to come with some of Phil's great t-shirts. Over £1,300 raised so far for our club (great work Phil).

Nostalgia Cases: Get yourself a mobile phone cover in one of the club's various kits and your purchase generates a royalty for our club.

Easyfundraising/Easysearch: Buy something online then you can raise funds for our club if you go through easyfundraising. Make easysearch your search engine and each search contributes as well.

I know times are hard for lots of people and not everyone will be able to do some or any of these but I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware what was out there.

Thanks for your attention.

Good post bringing the various initiatives together Martin.

Another way to help the club might be to let the fans assist with kit design for 2021/22. After two underwhelming strips for this season, we need a change of approach. Was it not just a few seasons ago that the club took soundings from Dave J, Ian and others to help them get it right?

Thanks Sandy.

With regards to kits it is always tricky to get something that pleases everyone, for example I like both our kits this season whilst you don't. What I have always thought was a sensible approach was for the supplier to provide 3 options which the fans vote on. The one with least votes goes and the final 2 go head to head so at least we get one that a majority like. Maybe that will come with fan ownership :whistling:
