I agree with all the comments regarding testing. When the talks about football returning started, there was a lot mentioned about players having to be careful and be in some sort of bubbles. Surely with the majority of teams Thistle will be playing being part time, this would at best be a very difficult thing to do ?

Reminds me of when Sharon Osbourne suggested to Ozzie that they could cover the stage in bubbles during one of his performances. He replied something like: "Bubbles???!!!  WTF!! I'm supposed to be the Prince of Darkness!!"

What is the rule here? If testing gets done before a match and one player is positive. He gets hooked and that's it? Everybody else who tests negative at that point can play, in theory? How many positives would it take for a match to be called off, and what would happen if that happened?

wonder if there will be any parallels with the EFL Carabao cup insofar as Leyton Orient accepted Spurs offer and volunteered to be tested & saw their game called off & have subsequently been booted out the tournament for positive tests - while clubs like Hull and Luton refused offers to be tested - what's the situation with testing at ptfc?

I believe the rule in Scotland is ..... if old firm players fail a test and the game has to be postponed as a result, then they get a bye to the next round. If players from any other club fail a test and the game has to be postponed as a result, then they get kicked out.

Kilmarnock forfeit their first league cup game v Falkirk. Falkirk are awarded a 3-0 victory. Kilmarnock wanted to reschedule the game, but this was refused.

Our governing bodies are a absolute joke , shouldn’t be penalising clubs in the middle of a pandemic.

It absolutely cheapens the tournament but maybe Doncaster and Co have got to push on in the only sponsored tournament they’ve got .

Scottish Football at its best. We've now gone a step further, graduating from fake crowd noise to fake results.

What next? Maybe Doncaster is at this moment extending an invitation to Melchester Rovers to replace Killie in the tournament.

Our governing bodies have already penalised clubs in the middle of a pandemic - Hearts, Partick Thistle & Stranraer!

Remember the vote to stop the leagues, was that not a fake result?

As far as i can remember, unless a premier league team is involved a test is not required. Was this player tested for some other reason ?

Someone on BBC Scotland said the player got a test off his own back. Couple of notes of caution. He maybe had symtoms. It was BBC Scotland said it!
