Top of the league tonight, albeit we're still waiting for the SFA to update their tables... 2025-26 (Youth - Under 19s) → Some good old-fashioned reporting there. I love the "clump of players".

The Thistle Archive
On this day 2014, "Rab the Jag" was enjoying a fine 3-1 win over Premier League leaders, Inverness CT. Sadly, no longer with us, but always remembered via the excellent plaque in the John Lambie stand. Partick Thistle 3 Inverness CT 1 (SPFL Premiership - game 5) →

Jaggernaut
Rab was clearly a cherished "Big Jags Man," which is how I heard Robert Reid introducing some folk at various occasions. By the way, I recognize the other Big Jags Man to Rab's left, but his name eludes me just now. Can anybody help with his name?

You may be correct (I will not say “right” to avoid further confusion!). I was taking “left” to mean from my perspective looking at the photo. You can never have too many Big Jags Men!

Jaggernaut
Thanks for that, Jagfox. I don't know Jim personally, but remember him well from the Northwest supporters bus and at almost all Thistle matches in the 70s. Good to know that he's still following the Jags as much as possible, with the help of his friend.

The Thistle Archive
No surprise WILLIE SHARP has 2 in the Top 10, but GARY PEEBLES is a dark horse with 2 in the Top 11. Where does TONY WATT's 50 secs goal from Saturday sit in our all-time list? The Thistle Archive
^ Ah, got you. Yes, the 60 seconds is a precise quote. All the 1 mins are presumed to be within the first minute, but with no precise timing given in the report used. Many of these are ripe for improving via other resources, so we're keeping an open mind. Speaking of which, thanks to the good old Match Programme (26/11/1988) we're able to clarify Gerry's pen with an improved potted report: McCoy was fouled in the box (15 secs) and converted the pen (48 secs). He scored again from 12 yards when an Ayr goal-kick was fired straight back into the box (37) then a poor clearance set up Kelly from 18 yards (40). Ayr hit back after a goalmouth scramble following a corner (42). Neither team took their second half chances. Could someone let the Guinness Book of Records know? 😁 Data improvements always welcome, any more fine tuning required let us know and we'll get to it. 👍

I just stopped at that point so didn’t even register the 1 minute scorers.
