Partick Thistle vs Falkirk - 7 November

Recommended Posts

How do we manage to find the same type of useless type of players year after year and with consummate ease.
I’ll try and remain positive despite seeing this type of match literally hundreds of times!

Thistle look good enough to win this.

We are easy to beat. All you have to do is wait for us to make a mistake.

And you don’t have to wait too long for that to happen.

Don't disagree but just have a feeling here.

Despite an unlucky goal and a missed penalty, the heads haven't gone down.

If we score next, I think we'll go on and win today.

Docherty's passing today has been woeful.

Too many passes missing their mark

Agree. Our passing has been poor the last few games. To win any game, you have to maintain possession. Simple, really.

Its not even that they're completely off the mark, they just seem to be either just in front or behind who he's passing to so they're always having to check their run or are stretching

This team is awful. McCall and the rest of his feeble management team look done.

I have to agree with you. Caldwell was mince but this team doesn't look any better than when he was manager.

I don't buy this "bad luck" story: the goal was lost because two defenders couldn't agree how to keep  Morrison marked and the goalkeeper  (Wright   - a young player who needs  extra protection) was caught out of position. That isn't bad luck. As for missing a penalty....

Not watching today.

Haven't seen any of our games.

Didn't renew my season ticket.

Wouldnt go even if we were allowed to.

Cannot remember a time as a fan where I've felt so disinterested and apathetic towards this football club in my life.

Seen a lot of dross over the years aswell, starting in the late 80's and right though the Dick Campbell years to present day.

See you all next August for our League 2 campaign.

Out of interest, does anyone know where the bottom of the Scottish Football pyramid is?

We seem to be trying to play a 4-2-3-1 and it isn't really working. The only threat we carry is from Williamson overlapping Cardle on the right side. Someone needs to give Penrice a rocket and tell him to get beyond Murray at least occassionally.

Falkirk aren't great and their goal was a real freek occurence but we've not really opened them up wherears they have missed at least one sitter.

Docherty looks scared of making another mistaked. Williamson is good going forward but his failure to clear the ball almost lead to a second just before halftime.

I would take Penrice off put on Foster. Take Bannigan off and put Lyons up beside Graham and switch to a 4-4-2. Graham is far too isolated.

Take off Bannigan? Are you mad?
