Anniesland Jag 80 Report post Posted February 25 10 hours ago, Jaggernaut said: Can somebody please enlighten me: on the Greaves site, what exactly is a "jersey square," selling at 30 quid? Unlike at the time of the old Greaves deal, there's nothing on offer there that has me thinking of buying. I see they've still got an old Airdrie diamond thing available; was 28 quid, now 5 quid! It’s a wall plaque thingy.

I wonder how many of those they've sold, and if it's almost none, if they've decided that there's therefore "no market" for PTFC items. But maybe I'm out of touch; are these "jersey squares" (Channel Islands Tory councilors, haha!) actually popular?

gianlucatoni 224 Report post Posted February 25 took me a while - resolution not that great - is that Brian Whittakers heid poking out two past Derek Johnstone? He used to work in the boot room up top in Lumley's - selling all kinds of rubber and nylon (studs that is s!)

I was always taking my boots up to get the studs changed - played on ash pitches back in the day (with the mitre mouldmaster!) so was more often than not playing with a few protruding nails on each foot

Naw, studs are still available today in every hue - e.g. pink - for today’s coloured boots generation
exiledjag 193 Report post Posted March 1 Just thought you would all like to know that I received my limited edition Jersey this morning. After much swithering I decided to buy (actually my wife paid). I can say with confidence that Greaves have sold......... 3! My number shows 3/100! I think the quality is very good and I am very happy with it. Looks much better than the pic! Can anyone boast of a higher number. BTW large is comfortably large - not the tight fit of our previous supplier! Come on everyone buy one you will be pleasantly surprised and its money to the club!

Just went on for a look see and was thinking of buying one. Looks like only 6 left and Small and Medium only. Does that seem correct?

Does that seem correct? That could be right. When I got mine the website suggested only small/medim/large sizes remaining which is why my limited edition number of 3/100 surprised me! Dick Dastardly 826 Report post Posted March 29 I like some of the other stuff but the shirt looks like a knock-off Scotland shirt. I know that is roughly what we wore 100 years ago, but somehow it’s not quite right.

Jaggernaut 1,433 Report post Posted March 29 Some decent items there. I like the replica shirt, and the polos. As they specify that the t-shirts are cotton, I'm guessing the polos are polyester.... which unfortunately I can't stand.
