Jason Leitch has said on off the ball that he is hopeful that their will be announcement  in the coming week about the way forward for the leagues that are not playing.

He also said that the Scottish Government doesn't want to be interfering too much in the running of pro sport. So what will the SPFL decide?

Do you really think that the SPFL will put up much of an argument to let the leagues below the championship start up again. As long as the premier league is allowed to play that is all they want. Also with some of the bigger 'elite' clubs in the championship struggling it wont be long until they call for no promotion to the championship or relegation from it.

Just watched the Wales v England six nations game. 4 in the makeshift studio in the stand, 2 commentating and 1 to interview players/managers after game. Have we ever needed this amount to cover a rugby match. But surely in today's circumstances when we are told you should only travel in essential circumstances, that is way over the top.

This last paragraph effectively sums up Scottish Football's decision making abilities

Quote

Any proposal to reduce the number of fixtures in League One and League Two would require at least eight teams from each league to vote in favour. A similar majority would be required to agree to null and void the lower leagues.

so ... if 3 teams in either league want the null and void and 3 teams in either league want to play on, we are probably stuck with the status quo

Exactly. It'll be fun and games (or fun and no games?) when the status quo requires clubs to play their remaining 16-19 fixtures plus play off games. Oh, and not to forget we've all outstanding Cup ties, which usually take priority.

Wonder if this attempted bribery will be on the table at talks.

I suspect they see this as their way to England.

Two really strong Colt Teams that get to the top of the Championship and push for promotion.

Offer to leave the Colt Teams in Scotland and take the big teams to England.

1. I wish they would just leave

2. I hope they take their Colt Teams with them

Agree with you CJ. But England do not need them and their sectarian baggage and they never will. We are stuck with them.

Yep, all it would take to protect any "big" team in the Championship getting punished like us last season would be to simply say that Leagues 1 and 2 are null and void, so no promotion and no relegation. "Rules" and decisions changed again, after we've been shafted, and in favour of other clubs.
