fifexile
For years the narrative has been too many clubs and not enough money to go round. Now suddenly there are not enough clubs....unless it's the first move to get the blue and green arse cheeks into the SPFL ahead of their bigger teams pissing off to another league

Jaggernaut
Then why not simply have a premiership colts/reserves league, instead of polluting other leagues?
lady-isobel-barnett
What's concerning is individual clubs not that far down the food chain may be looking at the revenue 4 x visits from OF colts will generate. Obviously the further down the Leagues that income stream will be relatively more appealing. Could end up with League Two having higher overall attendances than League One. It's worth remembering that in any town throughout the country those of either ugly sister persuasion are likely to outnumber those who support the home town club. Fawlty Towers
So just as the league campaigns are about to start we have a club not happy with the SPFL (and I doubt they will be the last): https://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/2021/07/28/club-statement-24/

Therein lies the problem. We are a million miles away from normality. The scenario at Falkirk is inevitable and will be repeated at several other clubs for the foreseeable. What we are left with is complete incompetents making it up on the hoof. Watch this space for the media darlings to be treated differently.
