Aidan Fitzpatrick

I saw Fitzpatrick in only a few  games and a couple of things occurred to me.

1. He was a good and very promising young player but somewhat short of the hype related to him!

2. When he transferred to Norwich who obviously thought he had the potential to be an English Premier or Championship Player I thought he wasn't  physically ready for that particular challenge and should have remained with the Jags for another season.

I suspected - a gut feeling - that when he was loaned to QotS the writing was on the wall!

It seems what was a reasonably good move for the Jags has not worked out for Fitzpatrick! I am disappointed for him and hope things work better for him in the future.

Some questions:

Would we want him back?

Could we afford him?

Do we know why his contract was terminated?

There's a very good reason why a contract termination has happened.

His attitude stinks - thought he had arrived when he got the Norwich deal. Got found out early on.

Looked dreadful for QoS last year in the televised games I witnessed.

Wouldn't want him anywhere near Firhill ever again - he's been found out.

Very unlikely that he will be Nisbet x 2 unless there is a serious change in his attitude.

Thistle won a watch with that deal.

He was an excellent prospect who had insufficient time to fulfill any potential.

What a daft move he made although perhaps  he’ll now have some money to invest.

McCall will have heard through the football grapevine whether he has a bad attitude or possibly just needs some guidance.

Hes still young so I’d be happy if our manager’s happy.
