Fearchar
At least we've learned that match reports can compete with estate agents' descriptions: "The game then went through a bit of a lull in terms of goalmouth action with chances few and far between for both sides" = "Head tennis and the big boot took over". It looks as if the players' equivalent of "The board fully supports the manager" for managers is reflected in McCall's statement, "who I thought did well when he came on" - i.e. had two legs when he came on, although they didn't really contribute to play. Thornwood Jag
Did anyone else notice the Thistle player who ran up to deliver a corner in the second half but completely missed the ball and kicked the corner flag instead? I could see Tiff giggling right after it. Nothing could have summed up yesterday better.

Presumably the parachute payments were used up paying off Archie and Paterson and some of the poor players they signed such as mcginty etc while the rest may have been used on paying off Caldwell and Kerr and some very high earners such as kenny Miller, Scott fox etc etc

We do not have a massive playing budget compared to Arbroath- which is why we weren’t able to sign Thomas O Brien, Michael McKenna etc
