If we are signing a left back then who do you think will be released? Hendrie has been ok at left back and Holt can cover there aswell. Hendrie, Foster and McKenna are out of contract in the summer. I’d be happy with a centre back pairing of Holt and Brownlie with Akinola as cover, I think we need a new right back, Foster and McKenna have been ok but would like to see someone better. Can't see there be many strikers available this summer who have scored goals in the championship and who are young enough to improve. So getting someone signed up early looks like good business. At over 6ft he could also alleviate some of the pressure on Graham and be at least an upgrade on MacIver. We probably need at another 2 strikers with 1 of them having a bit more pace. I would assume Milne is the left back and he will be announced after Cove win the league this weekend. If it is him he does sound like he will offer more pace and threat in attack. Probably means Hendrie won't be with us next season. If Holt is about we could be looking mixing up our formation and playing 3-5-2 on some occasions.
