The detail, particularly the thin red strip is very well-done. Is it an online shop that sells them? Made to order? Is it an online shop that sells them? Made to order? A guy called Dave from Colourfield prepares them, handprints etc. What the customer has to do is specify a team, season or specific date, lineup, managers (optional) - and ideally send links to strip detail plus team photos. I just linked to the season 2012/13 first team on official site and told him to give Shaggy big sideys

denismcquadeno.eleven 167 Report post Posted Monday at 09:33 AM Just noticed something about the man pictured on the far right of the cover of this book! Could it be that ex-Labour leader, Ed Miliband, is a ‘Subbuteo’ fan?!!
Jaggernaut 1,652 Report post Posted Monday at 12:55 PM (edited) Was the ball really half the height of the goal? I remember a pal who bought some kind of feature which would give the effect of a video replay of each goal. Turned out it was a patch of sellotape to be stuck across the back of the goal net so that the ball would stick to it. ETA: Definitely preferred those bigger, lightweight balls to the smaller heavier ones that got introduced when it all started going like the old pitch at Easter Road. ETA: Definitely preferred those bigger, lightweight balls to the smaller heavier ones that got introduced when it all started going like the old pitch at Easter Road. Don’t think so. I mainly played with the bigger ball. Recall white orange, and brown were larger and ‘World Cup’ with black hexagons’ was smaller. To us back then, the accessories were great eg real nets on the posts and a big pitch. We always had the pitch on the floor, but you had to have the right kind of carpet to cling and flatten properly, adhering to the carpet. One lad in our mini-league got the floodlights and it was a real thrill playing matches at his house in an unlit room in the evening with just the floodlights on! I never had them, nor the spectators some had. But, it was great fun having your ‘own’ team, recording matches and competitions in a notebook. I think having this enormous abundance of different club colours for the teams issued gave this football game a great advantage over others. fifexile 57 Report post Posted 5 hours ago When I got my first set (the club edition IIRC) my dad got a big bit of chipboard and glued the pitch down on it. Heaven knows how he got the lines straight but he did. I 'borrowed' an old coffee table to set it on. Me and my mates had a league for years and my 'ground' was the neutral venue for cup finals. Happy days!
